I was skeptical to purchase this as I’ve loved my dim green night light I’ve had for years, but I needed a new one. I like the ability to adjust the light and it gives better light coverage than my old one without hurting my eyes or keeping me awake when I go back to bed. The only problem we had is the outlet in one of our bathrooms is close to the mirror on top and granite counter on the bottom so this light was unable to be used as it needs clearance on a wall for the entire light size. Would recommend this night light.

02/08/23 I bought 2 red LED lights for use as night lights. They worked great! I put one in my bathroom & one in my bedroom. I loved them! (not sure about remote control function. A remote-control gadget wasn’t provided.) Anyway, I thought LED was supposed to be economical and last a long time. I am disappointed these only lasted 3 months. They were only in use for 8 hours a night on the lowest brightness setting. I took them out of the sockets during the daytime to be sure they weren’t in use. I began using them Nov. 19th. They both burned out at the EXACTLY the same time on 02/07/23! (Planned obsolescence!) They were $11.99 for two, so that’s $5.99 a piece for only 3 months, very limited use. I really liked them, but too pricey and short-lived for me. Unfortunately, I won’t be buying them again. That would be approximately $47.93 a year for just these two night lights! (i.e. 2 lights @$11.99 x lasts 3 months X purchased 4 times a year=$47.93!)
I bought the red nightlight for my babyâs nursery so I can still see in their room without turning on a bright light. Itâs also great to help keep my babyâs sleep going and helps them back to sleep if they start waking up. I love how you can adjust the brightness of this too so itâs not tooooo bright but just enough for some light in the room without disturbing sleep
I love the dimmable feature. On high it makes it bright enough to see the whole room and on low itâs low enough to just be a light in the room not illuminating anything.
Product is as described. You can dim it to a point where is barely illuminates the wall and floor at the outlet and doesn’t bounce light off of objects in the room. At it’s brightest, it is quite bright and really too bright for a night light in a bedroom. There is no absolute ‘off’ via a switch, however. The light sensor turns it off when a room light or window shade is open. Just understand it will always be on in a dark room. I’m pleased with it and do recommend it if you’re looking for a dimmable night light.
