Great pop-open option for early learners
These kids scissors arenât bad. I love that you can put down the spring in the middle and then they will automatically pop back open. For my three year old just learning scissors, This is usually a hard task to open them is after you cut so this is amazing that you have the option to make them pop open scissors but you can also have them not. They fit well, in my three year olds hands. I removed a star because even when cutting thick or thin paper the tip does not cut. About 3/4 of the scissors to cut but the tip never does so when my son has put a strip of paper the whole way through the scissors so it should cut it doesnât completely even though the paper both sides is right in the scissors.

These safety scissors are excellent! My 2.5yo is just learning scissors for the first time and she can use them easily. The little plastic spring piece is perfect since itâs harder for little hands to do the opening part of the scissors after the cut. I use it too, haha
