Doesnât cause gases or colic pain to babies
I bought the product because my 3 weeks old baby was having a side effect to vitamin D drops I got from the pharmacy. He would have gas and colic pain right after the regular drops and they would last for hours making our days very unpleasant.The vitamin D is dissolved in olive oil so taste is not bad at all. We have not noticed any pain, gases or colic after use. I definitely recommend it for babies.It says on the box to refrigerate after opening but you canât use them well if they stay in the fridge all the time, the olive oil becomes lumpy.

One “drop” is not actually a drop!
I loved this product until I realized that one “drop” is actually 0.25ml which is about 1/4 of the included dropper. I was giving my baby about 1/8th of a dose until I read more carefully on the box that one dose is 0.25ml and not actually one drop of the liquid. This is disappointing and misleading. I will still use this because it is one of the only vegan vitamin d drops for babies, but I wish that one “drop” was actually one drop, or that they would change the wording on the directions to make it more clear. It is much harder to give my baby the full dose since it’s a significant amount of liquid for a newborn.

Imi wish it was easier to dispense
Bought this because itâs vegan, but I wish the serving size was one drop, not 0.25ml! It makes it much harder to give, especially if your baby doesnât like the taste of olive oil.. I wonât repurchase.
Oily texture and smell
I like the part that it is convenient to give to the baby using a dropper- donât like the ones that have dropper nozzle thing built in the cap and one keeps waiting for minutes for one drop. Donât like its texture and smell though- the base seems to be EVOO and if you have a baby who doesnât stay still for medicine, youâll have stained clothes!
Very misleading
Very misleading instructions. I rarely write bad reviews but the instructions can be harmful.The instructions say to give âone dropâ however like other have said, this os NOT equivalent to 0.25 ml which is more like 4 drops according to the dropper.Very disappointing and misleading. My daughter is 10 weeks old and I have been supplementing Vitamin D from day 1 but been under-dosing her. This is super upsetting as I have followed the âone dropâ instructions until I noticed that and came here to see what others had to say and sure enlighten others customers have noticed that as well.I hope the company makes adjustments to their instructions rather sooner than later.
Excellent for vitamin d to baby she takes it while breastfeeding I sneak it in. No taste, goes down easy never spit up and best of all its vegan, will continue buying.
So my daughter’s pediatrician recommended adding a drop of baby vitamin D drops to her bottles to help with absorption of calcium. So I figured I’d give these baby D drops a try. I’ve been giving a drop a day for the past few weeks mixed with her formula. I haven’t noticed any issues or changes in baby’s habits or digestion. Hopefully it’s doing what its intended to do. I don’t notice any smells with the drops. They are just a clear liquid formula.
I love these for my toddler! Are used to put drops in his formula but hated the way it left and oily film in his bottles. So today I tried dropping one on his tongue. I tried it first to see what it tasted like of course. It has a very mild herbal taste to it, almost like oregano? In a way it taste like pizza LOL, and my son definitely did not make a face when he tried it. I think these are great except the dropper is not the best. I love these for my toddler! Are used to put drops in his formula but hated the way it left and oily film in his bottles. So today I tried dropping one on his tongue. I tried it first to see what it tasted like of course. This is super easy to give my little one. I add it to his drink and he can not tell! There is a comfort in knowing I am giving my little guy what he needs and that the product is reliable! I would recommend to any parent looking for that extra support!
