This is a soft, colourful, and fun to play with toy that helps with sorting by both numbers and colours.The set comes with 15 cloth fish, five different coloured bowls, a fabric fishing pole, and a cloth bag that also doubles as a play mat. Each of the bowls has a large number on it, 1 through 5, and there are a corresponding number of the same-coloured fish. For example, the green bowl has the number 2 on it and the set includes two green fish.Each of the coloured fish have a fun pattern on them, with large black eyes. The fishing pole, which has a bell embedded in the “hook” part (it’s not a hook but rather a soft cylinder), collects the fish using Velcro. The “hook” includes Velcro on both the end – so you can pick up one fish at a time (see photo) – as well as on the sides, so you could roll it around and collect several fish at once. Velcro does wear over time so I’m hoping this will remain usable for a while. I’d have preferred a magnet over the Velcro, but it does work as designed.The bowls are all made of a thick plastic. The edges are smooth, so the bowls are comfortable to hold and sturdy enough that they should withstand lots of play by kids.The fact the mat doubles as a bag is a nice touch. Everything fits easily and it’s a great way to keep the entire kit contained, so you can store it away or take it on a play date or as an activity to carry when visiting friends and family.Overall, a nice playset where all the components are well made. The fact you can sort by both colour and number is a bonus, and encouraging tactile play makes it all the more effective. I can see this being used with or without the fishing pole, so younger kids may just want to pick up the fish with their hands and place them in the bowls while older kids will enjoy the challenge of catching the fish with the pole. If you’re looking for a good playset that teaches counting, number recognition, and colour identification then this is worth getting.

Fun little fishing game where the fishing “hook”(not actually a hook) catches fish by Velcro-ing to little stuffed fish. That’s fun, in and of itself, but each of the five fish colours has a different number of fish (1-5) that corresponds to a cup of the same colour, so once you’ve hooked a fish, you take it off and place it in the right cup. Each cup has the numeral printed on it of the number of fish that go in that cup, expanding the learning around numbers. Thanks to drain holes, the cups can also be used independently as bath toys. The components are brightly coloured (very appealing), good quality, and seem durable. Even a very light touch will hook a fish, so it’s well-suited to young toddlers who haven’t yet developed refined motor skills. And the “fish pond” fabric pad is actually a bag with a Velcro closure and handles that you can store everything in between uses—hooray for easy storage! Recommend.
Fun and Educational Play for Toddlers
It is colorful and well-made. It also promotes creativity for toddlers because it has a lot of stuff included that makes the toddlers engaged. It promotes fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It has soft materials perfect for their little hands but I still recommend them being supervised at all times as they might put some of the parts in their mouth.
Strange Play Set
Strange play set. Not totally sure what it’s purpose is. Seems most of it could be use as cat toys. Personally I got it for the sit to use as props for songs during circle. Bonus for me is it comes in an “ocean” theme bag.

This is a fun toy for babies and young toddlers to enjoy “fishing”. It is listed for ages 6 months and up. The rod has Velcro so the fish will stick to it. There are colour corresponding buckets to sort the fish by colour and number. It has an ocean themed mat for the fish to be on when using the toy, and then it doubles as a storage bag for when the toy is not in use. It would make a great gift too, since it comes in a colourful box which clearly depicts what is inside.
