Got a nasty upper respiratory infection due to the new apartment I moved into still has an old school shared ventilation system with 4 other tenants and they smoke cigarettes and other stuff plus I’m sure germs travel through the vents as well… I’m always smelling nasty stuff, sneezing, and having sinus drainage. I stopped using any petroleum products and haven’t had a sinus infection in years so never looked into alternatives until all this started with it getting colder and living in this place.Thought I’d try this the baby chest rub first from Mary’s to see how I liked the brand. I was skeptical I’d like it or that it would work but it really does well. I rubbed it on my chest, feet, and under my nose. Now that the infection is gone I run it under my nostrils at night before I put my CPAP machine on and it opens up my lungs better since I’m constantly feeling congested this winter because of selfish smokers. (I say that as an ex smoker that used to think I was polite but now I know there is no polite way to smoke that doesn’t endanger the health of other people. It is pure selfishness).This also seems like it’ll last a long time too. You don’t need nearly as much as you do of the petroleum based stuff, I believe.I plan to try out the other types of rubs they have, to have them on hand since my landlord and his workers don’t seem to think that in 2023 it’s a big deal about the cigarette smoke issue…
This is definitely my favorite chest rub. Whenever my toddler has a stuffy nose or slight cough I rub this on her chest and her feet then put socks on before bed. It works great, sheâs usually pretty clear in the morning or within a couple days by just only using this. The consistency isnât too thick or sticky and the smell is nice and not so overwhelming
This is a great product to use for your baby instead of vicks. There are no harsh chemicals and clears up my babyâs stuffiness. The smell is a little different but itâs not too bad.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE this chest rub! We put it on our toddler and ourselves ! The smell is delightful and not overpowering like other big brands. It helps clear you up and breathe easier. Love this, if you are on the fence, purchase it ! You wonât regret it.
I actually use this product not only for my kids when they get congested, but as a perfume balm. I think the smell is gentle, pretty and non-toxic!
