My high chair requirements were: long lasting, good price, and aesthetically pleasing.1. Bought this for my 2-month old and I love that he can join us at dinner if heâs awake and I can put him in my sight if I need to be in the kitchen. Sure I could do that on a swing but Iâm really not trying to have too much gear in a small apartment that I can only use for ONE ATHING. although I havenât used this particular item for long, I can tell the quality is long lasting as the other products have been.2. Is it the cheapest? No. Is it priciest? No. Listen, I donât mind investing into items that can last but I also still think twice about paying extra for avocadoâ so for me it really is about finding a good middle ground.3. The three color choices make it so you can combine as you please, I chose a neutral dark grey so itâs forgiving of the days it goes without washing. I also didnât want plastic and the wood grain makes it feel like it came right with our dining table. My favorite part is the cohesiveness with my home, since other wooden chairs simply screamed boho.EXTRAS: I love that itâs light enough to push single handed and itâs not bulky like another brand that is simply SO HEAVY. Since this will grow with baby Iâm glad heâll be able to push it too and Iâll feel safe about it & love that it has wheels so I donât go scratching the wooden floors but can lock it in place. +the tray can easily be stored on the foot of the chair which makes it more compact and sleek looking. +compact, againâ small apartment and even in a bigger home I donât need my house yelling BABY!!! In every corner, so I appreciate that it folds when I donât needed (as he grows Iâm sure Iâll keep it out more but for now you get it). +adjusted height, I wanted something to last for years and most high chairs (that didnât wipe my bank) were either SIT HIGH or MID SEAT so I do enjoy that I can adjust as needed.CONS: – when opened the base is pretty wide (Iâd say a chair and a half of space). -opening and closing was a bit tricky for me until I saw a video that showed me I was overthinking it ð
I was worried about the color and staining but we have had spaghetti, pizza, etc and all the food comes right out in the wash. Itâs super easy to remove for washing. Super sturdy and easy to use. Assembly took about 2 minutes and is very easy to transport. The straps & clips are easy to use and seem very safe. Worth every penny.
Absolutely love the look and functionality of this high chair. Weâve had it for about six months & it has worked really well for my son (almost 12 months). My one gripe is that the cover isnât a quick easy wipe clean between meals despite what other reviews say. It does saturate liquids so itâs cleanISH, but I wasnât loving that I felt the need to wash it nightly or every couple days. We did BLW so, sure, the mess is preventable but thatâs beside the point. I inquired with the manufacturer about buying an additional cover and they quoted me 72$!!! Donât get me wrong-love a good, sustainable cause, but I could already tell you Iâd end up burning through more (money & materials) by frequent washing over the next year or so than if I were to buy an alternate cover. I was able to find a generic cover (fit for Graco high Chair for Peg Perego for Siesta Zero3) that fit pretty well over the manufacturer cover. Itâs made of faux leather so I absolutely love being able to quickly wipe clean. Like a true wipe clean.
