Amazing booster seat
Just like the quality of every other maxi cosy car seat, this is no exception to being one of the best on the market. The brand itself is known for providing luxury quality products, that are aesthetically pleasing and functional. This car seats really easy to install, it would take less than 15 minutes if you just read the manual properly or if you have experience. If youâre an experienced car seat installer you could probably get this in in 10 minutes or less. This is very comfortable for your child, itâs extremely soft, cushioned well and is adjustable. All the fabric comes off so itâs very easy to keep clean, and it washes really well so you donât have to worry about the quality of the product being ruined after putting it in the washing machine. It comes in multiple colours which is nice for those that are looking for some thing that suits their interior, I got the standard black which I think is the most sleek. I do recommend thoroughly reading the instruction manual so you can see all of its functions and how to use it to best fit the child in your life . I love that the back comes off completely so you can use it as just a booster seat for an older child, this is a multi functional product, and although the price point is high thereâs no denying it just one of the best out there. I definitely recommend this for the child in your life , this is pure luxury.
Installation is not great
This was probably one of the most annoying installations I have encountered and really unreasonably so for a booster seat! I donât know why it had to be so finicky?The seat is of average quality and materials…this is not Diono or Britax and really the price is high for what it is. It is a lightweight plastic seat and it will do the job but you are losing some of the more high end features and stronger materials in those seats.The installation was annoying for 2 main reasons…1) The back of the seat needs to be flush to the vehicle seat back. This means you may need to use the recline option to get a closer fit. Now while that is generally not an issue in any seat I have used before, it was in this case. There is no way to âlockâ the recline position so the second you push it back into the seat with the UAS anchors then it pops right back into the upright position. So that is very annoying and cumbersome to keep fixing and makes the job take longer.2) The UAS system is really frustrating. They slide out quite far to accommodate I suppose the anchors that might be deeper into the vehicle seats but they are sort of difficult to click in securely because of the sliding mechanism.So while trying to keep the seat in recline to match my truck seat, and simultaneously trying to push the UAS into the anchors….one thing or another kept getting out of place and I feel it was almost luck when it finally worked! I had to try about 5 times and I am very experienced with carseats and almost as knowledgable as a carseat tech. So this was definitely not a good experience for me.Once it was installed properly I do really like the belt path but the shoulder, it is really side and open and makes for easy and smooth movement of the seatbelt. This is actually better than the Britax we had before which was too snug of a fit to the belt and it made it really difficult for it to slide easily when buckling in. The fabric is ok, it is a bit rough and it isnât as padded as say a CLEK seat but it is better than maybe the more basic seats like Evenflo or Harmony. So I think it is still a good seat and middle of the road price range, but it could be more affordable with the issue I have mentioned in this review. I will update once we have used it on a long drive (2+ hours) to speak to the comfort for long distance travel.
Highly versatile primary or backup child seat
This is a very well constructed, easy to use child safety seat that can be easily changed for your child needs as they grow. So that their first stage of upright sitting, to their last booster seat is provided without having to purchase another chair. This can be converted within seconds, allowing for use with children of different ages, at different times. And when installing, the seat is highly secured without alot of struggle, in minimal steps, usung the vehicle seatbelts and anchor systems.The material and construction is very good. With attractive material that is easy to maintain and keep clean. Having very good weat resistance and removable essential parts for quick cleanup.The seat is very well suited for allowing excellent adjustability as your child grows through the different stages. With 7 quick and easy adjustments to suit various ages, sizes and weights.
amazing quality
easy enough to install, the quality is top notch. my son enjoys his car rides more, says its really comfortable even after an hour in traffic which is a headache saver. being able to swap this to backless in the next year will save me even more time and money so love that!
Very well made, solid construction
This booster seat appears to be well made – it looks solid and also comfortable. It has some heft to it so you can tell it is pretty heavy duty. It adjusts easily to accommodate different sized kids. Holding kids from 40-100lbs means we shouldn’t have to buy another one which will save some money in the long run.
INSTALL IT RIGHT
Quality two piece set up with speed clips for installing into the tethers on most (if not all) modern vehicles.As always with these sorts of seats FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO A TEE. It is still possible to install this incorrectly, and thus create a hazard of precious cargo.The chair once installed is rock solid for the young ones. It appears to be comfortable (Im too fat to try and sit in it) and well made.Definitely a recommend.

Very well made durable car booster seat. After all it is Maxi Cosi. The seating area itself is extremely soft and plush. It is light weight, weighing just 15 pounds . It is totally adjustable to the child’s needs. You can use the seat with or without the cack and it comes with a removeable cup holder. It is just a well made and thought out baby seat. But of course it is. It is Maxi-Cosi.
