Just as good as spectra pump parts!
I got these parts today as a replacement for my spectra backflow protector that broke and Iâve used them once but they have just as much suction and power as the original spectra parts. This is a fantastic substitute for Canadians struggling to find the original parts. I have no complaints! I will be ordering again when I need to replace these! The price is also great for getting a full set of pump parts, including the tubing and extra duckbills 🙂

Bought this product a few days before I came home with baby – and to my surprise – it works SO WELL! Iâm super happy that it wasnât a waste a money lol. Iâve used it everyday for 2 weeks so far and nothing has been wrong with it (Iâll be sure to update this post if I ever have issues…) Suction is great, parts go together easily and the material seems to hold up fairly nicely!âââââââââââââââââââââââ1 month later: Still love this product! Ive accidentally banged it on a few things and it still hasnât cracked 🙂 Thumbs up ðð¼

These are extremely comparable to the Spectra pump parts. I actually cannot tell a difference between these and the Spectra ones except for the brand name on the side of them. I have repurchased these because I liked them so much.
I really like maymom products, but I am underwhelmed by their flange set. The backflow protector just falls out of the back of the flange. It is extremely loose. I hope that it is just an issue with my set but I’m very disappointed. If my other set is the same I will go back to paying double from spectra.
I only ordered these because 24mm on Spectraâs website were sold out. These parts were so horrible. The back flow protector silicone piece didnât fit right on the case. The duckbill valves were extremely loose. Would easily come on and off. And the back flow protector also attached to the shield extremely loose. It was as if it will come off during the pumping session. There was barely any suction. The back flow protectorâs silicone pieces were moving differently. Different suction in both.It was waste of time and money for me and made the already annoying experience of pumping even more annoying.Spectraâs used parts did a better job than these new ones.
These parts work. They are NOT as good as the Spectra brand parts, however, they are a more affordable alternative. In my experience, the flanges leak where they attach to the bottles. The duck bill valves are a TIGHT fit and you have to do some yanking (which causes stretching) to remove them. Also, the back flow protectors easily slip out of the flanges. They do WORK, however, they are NOT the same quality as Spectra. If youâre looking to pinch pennies then I would recommend.
We love this brand. The spare pump set is so much cheaper than the Spectra brand replacements and honestly you can’t tell the difference. We pump a lot for our twins so having extra parts was a must. So glad I went with this brand.
