Great for separating cooked ground meat
I have been looking at this product for a while and found this to be one of there sturdy ones. I bought it primarily to break up my cooked ground beef when making pasta dishes. I found it also worked on raw ground beef to make it easier to cook and to mix herbs and onions into it.It is made from a good quality plastic which doesnt bend when you are pressing down on the meat, it feels sturdy and is easy to wash either by hand or in the dishwasher. I have arthritis in my thumb joints and cannot always use a potato masher or pastry blender , I had no problems with this though.I was intrigued to know what else I could use it for and have tried it on cooked eggs to make egg salad, avocado for my guacamole, and to crush canned tomatoes for my pasta sauce.I wish I had bought one earlier!
Works great
Had another type that worked well until a rubber tip wore away. This one has one more blade than my old one and does a great job breaking up the ground beef for tacos or chilli. Handy kitchen tool.
