The slow flow nipples are great for a 1-3 month old baby; helps her drink slower and prevents choking on the milk.

Nipples arenât good.
The nipples are described as being slow flow but they are not. I have Playtex Ventaire bottles that I use for my baby so Iâve seen slow flow in action. I bought these so that I could just use my Medela bottles after pumping instead of transferring the breast milk to another bottle to feed my baby. I tried it once and the milk came out too fast. Also, the base of the nipple is not wide enough, so with the suction power of my baby eating, the nipple collapsed and nearly came out of the ring whilst my baby was eating. Would not recommend this product if you actually need slow flow. Might be good for when the baby can handle medium flow.

Using this product for the third time, third baby. It is perfect for mixing breastfeed and bottle feed as the slow flow imitates breast flow.

Love these. However. I would not say they are slow flow. Which is fine for me – others may care. I may think this because I was using breast feeding nipples before these. I’m not versed in all different types of bottle nipples. I just think these work well because they go right on my pump bottles. Less dishes. And my baby had a weak latch in the beginning so the flow was good for her little mouth and the shape seemed to be good for her. We had no nipple confusion with BF whatsoever. But definitely more of a glow compared to the advent bottles we tried first that she rejected.

I used 5 Oz medela bottles , the same brand but it didn’t fit.
Genuine product, purchased as back up. Good quality, Medela is preferred bottle brand. Baby has no issue in use.
I kept the Medela bottles we used for our first child, and ordered these to replace the old nipples which were too old to reuse.Fit perfectly, and baby #2 has had no complaints! Works for breastmilk or formula just fine.
