These things can almost keep me out of the electrical plug, nevermind my 2 year old. Once in, it requires two hands and pushing on exact spots to remove. My daughter has tried and was quickly deterred.

Definitely going to keep kids out of plugs but also arthritic grandparents. Donât recommend for seniors use or youâll never get in out either unless your children open before they leave. I have arthritis in my hands and there is no way Iâm getting them off but they definitely work as intended and a great invention for more difficulty in removal.
The BEST if you have a feral toddlers
All the other outlet protectors were easily pulled off. A challenge to my feral lot of children. These ones however stay locked in place. So it’s one less thing I have to worry about. Highly recommend.

Soit les anti bébé fonctionnent très bien, soit je devrais sérieusement me demander pourquoi jâarrive à retirer la plaque couvrant les prises électriques, si bien quâils sont difficiles à retirer ! Chose de certaine, vos enfants nâiront clairement pas mettre leurs petits doigts dans les prises !

These things are fantastic! Some of the other reviewers have complained that these are difficult to remove and that was the reason I bought them. If adults have problems then my 1-year-old son should in theory as well. 6 months later he has yet to remove any from the wall and I have witnessed him try a few times with no luck. I originally bought just one pack to try out and then bought 30 more to put on every outlet in my house.These can be removed single handed. With your right-hand, use your thumb to press-in the left, your middle finger for the right, and then use your index to push down on the center post/pin. You will need to jiggle it slightly and then it should pop out. It may take you a week to get use to the mechanics of it, but I can do it one-handed with ease while holding my son in the other arm. These are so much better than the cheap plastic ones that just slide-in. My in-laws bought those for their house and my son has learned how to remove them already and had to replace them with some of these in his frequent play areas. For the extra $50 it cost me to get this over the others, the safety of my son is my highest priority. So maybe I skip ordering a pizza one week and make some pasta or rice instead and call it even.

Goes in easy but its difficult to remove even for an adult which is something you want if your talking about serious child proofing.

Quality Issue
1pc was damaged and could not be locked well,
We have the typical three prong outlet covers and those work fine but we wanted something for our more adventurous toddler as she gets into everything easily. We got these and more amazed at how difficult they are to get out of the wall. If you explore on our video, youâll see how challenging it is. Itâs virtually impossible to do with one hand, and until you know how to get it out (by pushing down on the top, bottom and sides all at once), not even an adult could figure it out, let alone a toddler. We feel extra safe with these and appreciate how durable they are, as well as the peace of mind they give us.

These are highly effective outlet protection plugs.The only ones available when my kids were little were the friction insert type.It didn’t take long for my little ones to figure out how to pop them off.So setting up my granddaughter’s room I wanted to provide a better level of protection.These from Safety 1st physically attach to the outlet. I can’t imagine a child having the strength to pry or pull this out.Yes, they are not easy for an adult to remove but isn’t that the point.Just grasp the side squeeze bars while depressing the top button and wiggle it out.These outlet plugs will give you a high level of safety and peace of mind.
Ok so lets be real here… You are not going to buy these because they are easy to remove… The last thing that you are going to do is buy an outlet plug that your toddler is able to remove.With that being said these are fairly easy for a functioning adult to remove. I would assume that any smart and logical child would be able to remove them as well and hopefully at that point the logic would also tell them not to stick anything but a plug in the socket. One could only hope.Getting the hang of removing them can be a little tricky, but not near as bad as some of these reviews claim to make them out to be. You just need to push in the left side of the plug to then be able to push the pin down on the top. While holding the pin down you can wiggle the plug loose from the outlet. Like I said it can be a little tricky at first, but do it a couple of times and it gets easier.At the end of the day I purchased these to keep curious hands from getting fingers, toes, or toys into the outlet and they do an amazing job at that. We have them on every outlet in the house now.
