Description
Calma by Medela has a patented air-vent system that allows milk to flow only when baby creates suction. It is suitable for all ages, eliminates the need for flow rate adjustments, and fits with Medela collection and storage bottles. Calma can be cleaned, stored, and transported, and is made without BPA. What’s Included: (1) nipple, (1) 5oz / 150 mL bottle, (1) cap, (1) lid.
Paced feeding: With a patented air-vent system, Calma ensures milk flows only when vacuum is created, allowing your baby to drink, pause, and breathe at its own pace.

Good quality , unfortunately my baby wasnât a fan. She couldnât figure it out because they need to suck on it to get the milk through and she couldnât figure it out she thought I was just putting something foreign in her mouth lol

Hardly any spit up afterward. Great technology. Easy to clean. Still using some I bought 8 years ago.

Jâaimais bien lâidée de savoir que la Titine représentait le mamelon et que la vitesse dâécoulement était supposé représenter celle du sein. Malheureusement je trouve que le débit dâécoulement se fait quand même rapidement, et en réalité le bébé nâa pas besoin de travailler pour le lait comme au sein. Jâaurais aimé que ce soit plus difficile pour mon bébé.Nâest pas comparable à lâallaitement comme mentionné

Don’t waste your money
It is very expensive and not effective. My newborn is drinking way to fast with this bottle. You can buy 2 bottles for the same price but with a real low flow .It also creates a lot of air. Not good , at all.
Works great to start – Not very durable
When we first received the calma, our newborn was feeding well with it. It was a great concept allowing the baby to have to work a little to get the milk as well as feeding him at a suitable flow rate. It was our favourite nipple of all the ones we owned. Within 1-2 weeks of receiving this, it began to leak when feeding and the flow began to overwhelm/choking our young one multiple times per feeding. We can’t be sure if it happened during sterilization or not, but the nipple is no longer being used. Now that I go back and read the reviews in more detail, I see that many others had the exact same problem. This is clearly an issue with the nipple. Save your money for something that will give you more than a week or two worth of feedings.

We purchased this bottle and teat in order to provide extra feeds to our baby as she was born a little light. My wife is breast feeding and we were advised by the hospital to feed our girl with a 5ml syringe or cup. Both of which were awful and took a long time.This bottle is great. The baby fed immediately from it. It took her a few goes before she drank at volume but we can switch between feeds from mum and feeds from dad and the bottle without any issues. This means my wife can have a break without worrying it will spoil how she feeds.Itâs great quality, clearly well designed and does the job.Highly recommend.
Pro-allaitement , je savais et me disais qu’aucun biberon ne peut éviter la confusion sein-tetine . Pourtant , j’ai été obligé d’en avoir recours car pr motif de santé j’ai du passer un examen qui utilise de la radioactivité injecté dans le sang et la radioactivité passe dans le lait maternel j’ai donc fait un stock de lait avant cet examen et durant 30h je n’avais pas le droit de donner mon sein a mon bébé ! Heureusement j’ai commandé le biberon a l’avance et j’ai un peu entraîner bébé a boire dedans car OUI il nécessite quand même un petit temps d’adaptation ne l’acheter pas la veille de son utilisation . Pr que bébé sache boire dedans je donner mon sein puis je retirer je donner le biberon , puis de nouveau mon sein puis le biberon pr que bébé sache reproduire la même succion car elle n y arrivais pas tt de suite. Le jour où elle a du être gardé … NIQUEL . Rien a dire . Ãa s’est parfaitement passé elle buvais exactement comme au sein et grosse surprise après 30h sans avoir eu le sein , lorsqu’elle la repris elle n’a eu aucune difficulté c’est comme si il ne serais rien passé ! Je m’attendais vraiment a devoir patienter sur une légère différence de succion , une confusion etc pas dutout !!! Si j’avais découvert ce biberon avant il l’aurais énormément aidé avec bb1 qui étais un BABI et qui pendant 27 mois été collé au sein jour et nuit !!Je recommande vraiment ! Je ne regrette absolument pas . Tout est niquel même le nettoyage du biberon que je redouter vu la complexité du système en réalité c’est aussi simple qu’un biberon classique .
Utilizzato il primo mese della mia bambina come biberon per allattamento misto. Il migliore secondo me da usare nell allattamento misto al seno. Il neonato deve impegnarsi a ciucciare la tettarella proprio come fa con il senso materno.
