Helped with my damaged nipple and baby with bottle aversion
I bought these due to a heavily damaged and bleeding nipple from breastfeeding. I had been pumping but my baby refused to take a bottle so I was only able to feed from one breast. I am so happy with these nipple shields. I have not tried any other brands, and yes sometimes they donât stick perfectly when baby move around but if I hold the two sides just to get baby started they work just fine. Also, baby does take on more air than directly breastfeeding because every time she unlatches the tip fills with air again that she sucks in when she starts to suck. However, it saves me from pumping a bunch of milk that I will have to throw in the freezer. Hopefully use can be temporary and can go back to regular feeding without them soon.
Saved my breastfeeding journey
Long story short, in the hospital I had to supplement with a bottle the first day and after that my little one would not latch to my breast again. I was devastated because he latched well as soon as he was born. There is so much stress as a new first time mom and breastfeeding is not as easy as it is made to look. These nipple shields saved my journey with breastfeeding, without them I donât think I would have been able to continue. It has been 3 months I have been using these shields and we are still going strong. My baby is able to take both the breast and a bottle which is super convenient! I did some reading and saw that the nipple shields can sometimes decrease supply. That had not been the case for me at all. My supply is well and my baby has more than doubled his birth weight in 3 months.It may be time consuming to have to wash them all the time and they slip off from time to time but to me it is worth it since Iâm able to feed my little guy! They have also saved my nipples! I have experienced no cracks or soreness which is awesome! Knock on wood!Good luck mommas! I hope this helps as much as it has helped me!

Hard to measure and use
I never used these, it wasnât easy for me to figure out despite the rave reviews. I must not have got the right size
Falls off
Product doesnât stick well to breast, you have to hold it in place and milk spills. The case was only good and now used for my Ameda Nipple Shields which are round all around and still good, 24mm, baby loves them.
Saved my nipples
Breast feeding my newborn was very challenging without these. My midwife suggested I give these a try. Originally I bought the 24mm ones but that was because I didn’t measure. I wasn’t successful using them and so I measured properly and got the 16mm, automatic relief the first time I used them. Now feedings are a lot less frustrating and uncomfortable for both my baby and me.
Good quality product
Works really well, no smell at all (which indicates food-grade silicone) and I like the clear case that comes with it as opposed to the yellow cases I had in some stores. I use them for every feed and am not especially gentle when I clean and sterilize them but they look like new still.

The baby wonât latch because the size of the nipple is too big .. it did not work for me. Also the moment u put it on your skin .. it will come off
