Hands-free Collection Cups Membranes are extra membranes for your Medela Hands-free Collection Cups. As part of your regular pumping routine, be sure to examine your pump parts. If you notice damage or extensive wear, replace the part immediately. Medela recommends replacing your membranes every 3 – 6 months, depending on your pumping frequency. IMPORTANT: Use of pump parts or accessories not designed for your specific breast pump may cause irreversible damage to the product. For that reason, only use the accessories that came with, or are identified by Medela to work with, your specific breast pump model. Each pack contains two (2) silicone membranes.

Just what you’d expect
Bought these despite the handful of horrible reviews on here because I didn’t want to pay $30 shipping from the manufacturer. Well it is exactly what I would expect, brand new box, good condition, safety seals intact, and desired product inside.Go ahead and order from here if you need to replace the membranes!
Didnât work
Once milk reaches the membrane it stops working and starts to back flow. The membrane that cane with the cup didnt have this issue
Check your Pump Version before purchasing
So Medela came out with a new 1.2 version of this pump which comes with new pump cups and new membranes back in July 2023. Except they don’t market it as a new version which is causing everyone a lot of confusion on here. As you can see in the photo I attached the membrane on the box is the 1.0 version but inside the box they are packaging the 1.2 version (don’t ask me why). If you have the 1.0 version of the cups you can call medela and they will ship you the old membranes if you need (that they no longer sell). But it also depends on when you purchased your pump and are eligible for warranty. The new membranes are âsupposed to beâ compatible with the old cups but they clearly it isn’t working for a lot of us on here writing the review.
Replacement for portable pump
I bought these for replacements for my portable Medela breast pump collection cups. Compared to the other connector membranes that Medela has, these ones feel very flimsy and delicate at the folded end, so be very careful when detaching for cleaning after pumping.

Bought these to replace the original membranes as is instructed by Medela. But these consistently gave me a lower yield compared to the originals. I finally just threw these away.Not sure if they were knockoffs or what.
