These seem to be pretty sturdy, and should have good play value. They reek pretty strongly of chemicals, so you’ll need to air them out for a few days before letting your child have them. The set includes a storage bag and an idea book – which only has three pictures for this set. The rest of it is stuff made with other sets.One little mystery: the top of the box has shapes printed on it that look like you’re supposed to cut them out, but for what reason I can’t imagine. There is no information on or in the box about this. Anybody have any ideas?
Fun blocks!
I bought two different sets of these foam blocks for my grandson. He is 4 and loves them. They are easy to put together and make fun toys that have working wheels. They can be played with in the tub. Highly recommend these blocks.
An interesting block set that can be used in our out of water
This is a really cool play set that offers the same creative outlet as building blocks, while being safe and versatile enough to use in water.These are foam blocks, but they aren’t super squishy. They hold their shape well and float.The set includes a nice assortment of various shapes, as well as smaller pin pieces to help connect the shapes together.This combination of pieces allows your child to build quite a few things, but as with other block building sets, you can never too many pieces, in my opinion 🙂 I would love to see a larger 200+ piece set of these.At the time of this review, this set goes for $55.99, which is expensive, but there also seems to be a 50% off coupon available for a limited time, making it a much better value.

Well-crafted and cute foam building block. Great precursor to Legos
I loved my Lego sets as a kid and I feel they truly help develop creativity, imagination and invention. These foam construction blocks are great precursors to Lego. They are large cute shapes that boast beautiful colours, some bright, others more neutral, and are soft enough to be safe for smaller kids while still firm enough to be durable. With 49 pieces, there are enough blocks to let your child’s imagination run loose and build a mini-menagerie of abstract dogs and other pets to rival Jeff Koons’. The main drawback is that the pegs that need to be inserted into the foam parts fit a bit tight and can require a bit of force to remove so parents may have to pre-insert them for their kid if the latter is very young.
4.5 STARS. So is it FOAMY foamy like a sponge or more densely filled in like a brick? The latter.
Current price point at the time/date of this review: $55.99 with a $14 off coupon currently being provided by the seller at this time. Pricing is a little higher than you would expect, however, the $14 off coupon certainly makes a difference given the price bracket it falls under. I would think however that somewhere in the $30âs is better.So how foamy is FOAMY exactly? Well itâs certainly no sponge and retains good shape – âfoamyâ enough where your toddler will be safe with it. And yes you could also expose it to moisture in the tub, although Iâm unclear at this point whether mold will eventually make its way in. Sure itâs foam, but itâs the dense type and so it wonât lose its shape easily.Colors look nice and very well suited for toddlers.
Great toy
These phone blocks are very colorful and they work very well for your child to be able to build. I love that they’re soft blocks and not plastic as sometimes my child gets excited and can throw blocks so the fact that their phone helps there from being damage. It’s really nice to get a wide variety of blocks instead of like a Lego set or something and letting your child’s creativity flow and see exactly what it is that they will build when they have no restrictions or limits.
These were fun right out of the box for the kids AND adults. They can be put together an infinite number of ways, and were nice and soft to handle.A nice size for little hands to hold, and easy to connect and manipulate! Would make an awesome gift for toddler to 4 or so.
Nice set for toddlers as its pretty soft that you don’t have to worry and inspires some creativity. Has some preset recommendations but the world is your oyster if you can imagine well enough. You can build quite a variety of things here or just stack them on their own minus the connector pieces. However don’t let the structure you build get too crazy because in nineteen ninety eight the undertaker threw mankind off hell in a cell and plummeted sixteen feet through an announcers table.4 stars, very good quality but a bit pricey. Better than average for sure. Nice variety for a starter set though.
This is a great set of foam block/builders and attachments. Definitely best for older kids, as the plastic connecting pieces are still too small and would be a choking hazard to toddlers under 3.The dense foam is quality and will make for some great fun even without the connectors. I think they will be fun to play in the bath as well, and I think they will likely “stick” to the wall of the shower once they are wet, adding to the fun of bathtime play!I would buy these again. Reasonable price and great quality for preschool aged (4 and up) kids as description states. Really great gift for kids who love to build and use their imagination! (Uncles too!)
I feel like these blocks are easy to handle for early learners. They are firm but not hard like plastic blocks, big but not too big which is nice. They feel dense stay together nicely, how they will wear is a question but I have a feeling most kids will out grow them faster than they can wear them out. Based on the quantity of blocks you get I feel these are a good value. They definitely help build spacial perception and motor skills in a safe way, especially if you are worried about how other block might pinch, these don’t. The verity of shapes allow for many creations.
I ordered the Smartwo foam building block toy set in the animal edition, which can be used to make a bird, duck, snail, dog, or giraffe. I was originally pretty skeptical about foam building blocks, thinking they must be really cheap and not durable, so I was amazed when it arrived and I actually saw it. The blocks themselves are really durable, as are the connector cylinders. This seems like a really fun toy generally, and could be played with during bath time, given the materials the blocks and cylinders are made from. If this is in your price range, donât rule it out because the blocks are foam. Itâs very high quality.
