This powdered formula holder is 3″ deep and has a 400ml capacity, which is close to 1.75 cups. The size of this will be perfect to use for snacks on-the-go, after bottle weening. We love a multi-purpose item!The portable formula pod comes with a 10ml scoop that snaps into a dedicated spot inside the lid, so it will stay clean & sterile until ready for use. Like some other reviewers, I’m actually using this Melii baby formula storage container for pre-workout and other powdered supplements when I travel instead of formula, but it’s been working well and just goes to show that this container has many uses. Pink is my favorite color so I chose the pink version, and it’s very cute in person. I like that it includes a scoop and an area of the main compartment where you can level the powder to get the most accurate measurement. While it’s mostly plastic and is lightweight and easy to carry, it doesn’t feel flimsy to me. There is a silicone seal in the clear lid portion, so the whole thing is pretty airtight and doesn’t leak. I tested it by shaking it around after filling it and all the powder stayed securely inside. It even has a loop strap so it can be attached to a bag or stroller if needed. I’ve only washed it by hand so far because I don’t really trust my dishwasher and it’s easy enough to wash anyway.My one concern is that while it has a clasp to hold it closed in the front, the clasp is very light and doesn’t require much effort to open. While this is great for ease of use or someone who has arthritis, I would worry that it might pop open if jumbled around in a bag or something like that. So I’m personally careful not to jostle it around too much, and so far it hasn’t opened unexpectedly. I’d recommend this to anyone that wants a cute and compact way to travel with formula or other nutritional supplements.
So much easier than taking a whole can. It does come with a scoop but it’s too small compared to the scoop the formula requires so I just drop the scoop that comes with the formula in the bottom. It has never flung open during travel and holds atleast a days worth of formula for a 3 month old. Easy to clean and has a ledge to level off the formula. Definitely recommend!
This is such a cute container. It’s a great container for baby powder. It included a spoon and it had a flap to help even out the spoon to make measurement perfect. It’s great to use for other powder too. The blue color of this one is so beautiful. The plastic container is very thick and sturdy. The latch is easy to close and open. Very portable and fit easily into a diaper bag.
My baby is formula fed, I was previously using the pre-portioned out storage container and ran into a few issues. This container solves them!The pre-portioned container means you have to make a bottle with that amount. This one comes with a scoop for one ounce at a time of formula. You can control how much you want to make.The other issues I had was the other one would spill and not be correct measurements when in the diaper bag. This one has a rubber seal and a lock so it wonât spill or leak.The scoop even has its own section to keep dirty hands out of the formula.This is a great buy for formula mamas!
