These are small, they won’t hold much food, but that’s exactly what I bought them for. They are sturdy, wash well in the dishwasher, and store easily. While I bought them for the kitchen they are versatile and can be used for anything.
These six containers measure 3.62″ L x 3.62″ W x 7.01″ H each. They are each one ounce. The title in the description is a bit misleading. The way that I read it was that each container was six ounces. These are definitely a lot smaller than they appear. They would be great for salad dressings, snacks, small leftovers, crafts, sewing supplies, screws, and so much more. You can use them outside of the kitchen in other areas of your home.The description itself is quite misleading. In the colorful section, it clearly states that these containers are microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe. When you go down to the technical information, it states that they are NOT microwave or freezer-safe. To err on the side of caution, I follow the technical information. They are easy enough to hand wash and I havenât put anything in there that needs to be microwaved.You can use these containers almost anywhere. Donât limit yourself to simply the kitchen. They are small enough to carry in your lunchbox, spill-safe, and each one has a different colored lid so you can easily tell the contents apart.I would recommend these containers with the following caveats: they are much smaller than what they appear, and they are not dishwasher or microwave-safe.
Though these are marketed as being for kids’ snacks, they are perfect for this adult’s breakfasts. I like making my morning oatmeal for the week all at once on Sunday, then portioning it out into small containers to heat up during weekdays. I have upgraded from some random plastic cups to these, and I appreciate being greeted by the bright colors in the morning, as well as the fact that they are BPA free and can be microwaved, saving me from washing an extra dish. The material feels strong and thick and the bases nest well into the lids, and they are easy to open and close. The rounding of every edge also means they will stand up well to being dropped. As mundane of a thing as it may seem, you can tell that a lot of thought was put into the design of these containers.
These are awesome little containers. These fit all my needs. I was looking for small food containers, mostly for small amounts of leftovers as well as for small food items to put in the freezer. I like to make small portions of freezer jam and these will work wonderfully for that purpose. These are 6 ounces, which is a perfect amount for me. (a cup has 8 ounces, so it’s slightly less than a cup) The containers are made of strong plastic and are see through, so you can see what’s inside. The tops screw on with just a half turn. The caps are very tight and won’t fall off or leak. These stack nicely so they don’t take up a lot of room in the cabinet. These are dishwasher and freezer safe. And they are BPA free. These would be great for snacks for kids or for small portions for lunches, too. These come in a cute plastic box and would make a nice gift. I like that these are from a women-owned business. These were designed by two moms. Love these containers.
I hoped these would replace the containers I had for my dog’s watermelon when we went hiking. They worked well, but over the year, some started leaking. These containers leaked horribly all over his hiking packs. His backpack needed to be washed, and I had to give him a bath when we got home because he had watermelon juice all over his ribs. Just… no.
