Great Quality
Everything about this dollhouse is great quality. It is strong and sturdy, I can see it holding up for many years. There are 3 nice dolls that are included with the set. They are flexible and can easily be positioned to sit or stand on their own. The wooden furniture is all sturdy, so it’s not going to tip over or run away when the dolls are placed on it. The fridge, stove and cupboard have nice doors that open and close, no fake doors. The door and the garage door are easy to open and close. The elevator slides up and down nicely. I love the wood and the colors that were used, perfect for girls and boys. The design of the house makes it easy for children to access it from every angle.This dollhouse was delivered in it’s original box which was a little beat up but nothing major. My husband didn’t have a hard time assembling it. The only issue we had was with glue in some of the screw holes but it was an easy fix.I did have to purchase the car separately, otherwise what fun is the garage. Considering this house has a garage, I feel the car should have been included.
This is a FANTASTIC doll house
As the others have said, it wasn’t the easiest thing to put together but totally worth it. This is a FANTASTIC doll house. I know several people who have the KidKraft house (I think sold at Costco for a while) and it doesn’t even compare. This is a great size, very colourful, simple yet fun. The accessories that come with it are great, but I did also get the car and the baby set which really complete the house. I love the handle cut into the roof because I can pick it up to clean under it, or move it around. It’s open enough that a few kids can play at once and not fight for space. Overall, I’m very very pleased with my purchase. Melissa & Doug products rarely disappoint.
Fast Assembly (no elevator headaches)
This took about 20 minute to assemble. It looks great but I took off a star due to some minor broken parts and one part that wasn’t glued in place.After reading previous reviews about how hard the construction job is and seeing other photos of lots of small parts to put together I was surprised to see most of the assembly work was already done. It came as a solid front and back piece, (including the pre assembled elevator) all we had to do was insert the floors and put on the roof. After all the headaches people listed in prior review with assembly I guess this product was revamped.

High-rise dollhouse, handyman’s delight
The usual high quality expected from Melissa & Doug. Solid construction, barrel bot & screw, easily assembled with the allen wrench included (a minus screwdriver can help hold the barrel in place, but isn’t critical). No extra parts, so keep everything in bowls if you have help from the kiddos. Leave some looseness until the final floors are added. Color coding of floors is more intuitive than in the other M&D house we’ve bought. Nice set of furniture included. “Dad” doll is gender-neutral.One caution: the ramp attached to the yellow garage drawer has very sharp corners, either leave it off or maybe file them down a bit.
Worth the wait
I bought this during the Black Friday sales and I’m glad I waited. It was fairly easy to put together but very sturdy. The doll house accessories it comes with are also very well made and sturdy. Nothing bad to say about this set but I’m glad I waiting until it was $150.

Broken
Put together half the dollhouse before realizing they had assembled the main back of the house wrong (the slit the floors slide into are on the outside) but only one so the floor has nothing to slide into on the inside.
My young son asked for a ‘toy house’ for his 5th birthday. This Melissa and Doug house ticks all the boxes. We had a task on our hands to find a house that wasn’t pink (why do toy manufacturers feel the need to gender toys????????), but this is perfect. The size is good too. It was a little bit fiddly to assemble in places, but I managed to put this together on my own (it would be a lot easier with two people) and it is sturdy. The instructions were clear.My son absolutely loves it and plays with it daily. The open nature means he can easily reach in and move the people/furniture around. It’s also lightweight, so he can move it around his room depending on how he’s playing with it. He plays really imaginatively with it.A wonderful, traditional toy that we’ve really got our money’s worth on.We also bought the car and doll set to go with this.
es ist wunderschön gemacht,traumhafte farben,und konstuktion aber als Puppenhaus als traumhaus zu bezeichnen.raume unterschiedliche pastelfarben und dazu gehörige möbeln dazu,enorme vielfalt und details dabei..es ist nicht nur liebevoll ,stabil,und durchdachtes produkt sondern fordert die kinder zu gemeinsame spiel dazu..also auch padogogisch sehr wirkungsvoll.könnte mann vielesdazu erwähnen zb die puppen die mit kommen usw..vielen dank für die zauberhafte spiel..kinder sind very happy..
I was impressed with the packaging and the assembly of this! Very well made and easy to put together. They covered all their bases with this from furniture to the dolls themselves! Perfect size for our 2 year old and all the colors are beautiful! Highly recommend this doll house!

Itâs expensive but itâs amazing.u donât get it anywhere except hamleys.and hamleys also didnât have much variety.received it in perfect condition.easy to assemble .quality is very good.its fun to slide the lift
