My 2 year old loves this. He can’t quite place the pieces by himself, but as far as an activity we can do together I love it. We talk about the vehicles and their parts, the colors, the things they are doing, what else is in the picture, the shapes behind the pieces. And to my surprise even though he can’t lace the puzzle together he is able to pick out all the pieces that belong to each set and group them. So I ask him to find the dump truck and he gives them to me (just by looking at the front pieces). I let him push them down once they are in place. Since buying this the box has chipoed in the corner, but overall it’s a great toy and activity for your toddler. My 6 year old nephew who has never played with a puzzle also loved this and now he sits and does it on his own whenever he comes to visit.

I purchased these puzzles for my digger obsessed 2.5 yo. They are his first “real” puzzles with interlocking pieces (as opposed to shapes that fit in a similar shaped hole) and he needed some help with them at first but within days he was doing them 100% on his own. Our set was well made with no splintering wood and no duplicate or missing pieces. The box is sturdy and well made and great for keeping the puzzles organized and portable for travel. I love that he can do them on the little “tray” which is ideal if we don’t have a flat/hard surface handy. The puzzles are on the smaller size but the pieces are still large enough for a toddler to manipulate easily and not so small they are a choking hazard for babies. The interlocking parts are very similar shaped so it is possible to connect the “wrong” pieces in a way that physically fits but leaves the picture jumbled, but I don’t find that too problematic considering how much value is in the package. I do anticipate the picture will get very worn with use, but that’s to be expected. We love these!
