My choice was a perfect one, my grandson is enjoying the sounds, and effects of the Farm sound puzzle. It’s amazing how he is repeating the animal sounds now. It comes with good practice. His age is 18 months, going to be 19months at the end of October.

My 22 month old twins LOVE this puzzle! Theyâre especially obsessed with the rooster sound lol! Iâm amazed at how quickly they caught on and were able to play with this. Itâs a great educational toy and I highly recommend it. I understand the other reviews that say that it doesnât always work, and I thought the same, until I read the description again and realized that itâs light activated! If the room is a bit dark, the sounds donât work but if you play near light, it works perfectly! Hope this helps 🙂

Bought a Grandchild her first wooden puzzle – 8 farm animals. Grandpa installed the battery andwe both laughed like little kids at the animal sounds that came out when each piece was replaced into its correct spot.Within the hour, several pieces no longer worked. The little granchild was careful with the puzzle. She wassupervised as she was given this gift. It was so disappointing . . . . to us . . . . when it no longer worked.She was thrilled. Will contact seller to see if there is a go-around to re-start the audio.

Impossible to return defective item to Amazon.
I bought this as a gift for my grandson who was coming from overseas to visit. It does not work, the sounds are stuck on the wrong animal sound. We received it on June 19 and are trying to return July 18th which is when we gave the toy upon his arrival. It is within the Amazon return date be one day and was just opened. Return is a cycle loop and we have tried every option. I am now re-thinking purchasing any gifts from Amazon and am concerned that Melissa and Doug toys are not as the reviews show!

This puzzle game is simple, well-made and has great sounds. My granddaughter loved it!
My littles die for this puzzle. The animal shapes are super cute and a good size for small hands to grip. As with all Melissa and Doug products the craftsmanship was impeccable.I will say the cons are the pieces can be a bit sensitive at times and will sound without provocation, but that’s an easy fix, turn it off.
Siempre recomiendo esta marca, para mi es garantÃa y mis hijas tienen colección de juguetes de Melissa and Dough pero en esta ocasión compramos este rompecabezas para regalo de mi sobrina y llegó roto de una esquina, la madera de veÃa de mala calidad, no pudimos devolverlo xq ya viajaban de regreso a casa a USA y ya no habÃa tiempo y asà se lo llevaron pero es el único juguete de esta marca del que podrÃa quejarme, además no se xq estaba solo este diseño mi hoja tiene el puzzle con sonidos pero rojo y los dibujos son más lindos, los sonidos de mejor volumen y el material de mejor calidad, este no lo recomiendo mcho

Fue un regalo, no han mencionado si algun animalito dejo de sonar. Solo viene forrado con plastico, no en su caja, lo bueno es que Amazon siempre empaqueta muy bien.
