Fantastic for my 20 month old
This actually occupies my 20 month old for more than 5 min. She enjoys finding the animals and putting them in their âhomeâ. Great fine motor activity. She even plays with the little magnet animals. Can put them in fridge and play ârescue the animalsâ. Very happy with this purchase. Also, very durableâ my toddlerIs rough with toys lol
Great toy
If I could give it, I would give 4.8. I love Melissa and Doug’s toys. Our baby got it when he was 9 months old and loved it since all the doors in his world were fascinating. He is 14 months now and he still has some interest for it but of course, it shifted towards other toys too. The board is great and the magnets “stick” well to it. The doors are relatively sturdy. Our baby did close them with more force and they did last. The only down side would be that the paper over the magnets did get erased with time on the sides, hence the 4.8 but for the price it is worth it.Tip: we made a sensory board and alongside with other M&D boards, we screwed it on the board on the wall and the interaction with toy was easier for our baby.
Wonderful developmental toy!
Great toy to encourage fine motor skills. I gave it to my daughter for her first christmas (when she was 9 months old). After showing her how the doors worked and pieces came out, it only took a few weeks for this to become one of her favourites. She is currently 11 months old and is more than a pro at opening and closing all the doors, and pulling out all the animals! We’ve now turned it into a hide and seek game, and I am trying to teach her the different animal names and sounds they make. Also good for recognition (ie. Asking where are the chickens hiding?…and getting the child to open the correct door to the chicken coop, etc) You can also mix around MOST of the pieces (some are too large to go in other places). Or play with the animal magnets on the refrigerator (fun idea!) I would buy it again in a heartbeat! (Note: BEWARE of using this if your baby likes chewing on things…maybe wait a little longer until they can play without teething on objects 🙂

Awesome toddler puzzle
Bought this a year ago for my 1 yr old daughter and she still loves it. No sign of slowing down. Lots of the inner pieces are interchangeable. The pieces are also magnetic so she plays with them on the fridge or a cookie sheet. Great puzzle for Tots.
This is our daughters favourite puzzle.
The wooden puzzle pieces with magnetic backs are great. We started our daughter a little young on this but she loved it even before she was 1. We watch her to be sure the pieces don’t go in her mouth as the small ones could be dangerous (hence the recommended age rating).The little farm animals are delightful. And there are little chicks on every piece which Delights our daughter to no end. The doors open and close easily.
Great concept but quality is lacking
Kid chewed up all the magnet pieces in 2 days. The paper on top has broken apart and I’m worried that the magnet would break apart too. It’s such a cute toy and great concept but it’s unfortunate how short-lived it was…

My 14 month old granddaughter plays with this everyday! Itâs one of the first things she chooses when she comes over. She enjoys opening all the doors and collecting the animal magnets. Since she still puts items in her mouth, I have hidden the smaller pieces. This wooden puzzle is heavy duty and the hinges appear to be well made.

Muy buen regalo,pone que es a partir de 3 años, pero mi hijo de 14 meses le chifla. La etapa del estar y no estar es hacia esa edad y también es adecuado siempre con supervisión de un adulto y no dejarlo solo con el juguete. Las piezas están imantadas lo que hace que no se caigan aunque gire la tabla. Es muy bonito y está bien acabado.
