Colourful, playful and very neatly made
I was a bit put off reading all the reviews on here, but I’m glad I made the purchase. I have found this product to be very neatly made, good quality – no paint rubbing off, no wood chipping off, no sharp edges, no rough sides.Its beautifully made, the shapes fit the slots very well and the fact that there are so many, just makes the fun last longer.My 2yr old is in love with it, he has been playing with it all day today and he has decided to take it to bed too, its keeping him company while he sleeps. He has been loving sliding shapes into the box or even just dropping them in emptying out the box all over again. he knows his basic shapes, so this has provided him with new vocabulary and a lot more shapes to learn. I’m going to take this on a 14hr flight with us, hoping it’ll keep him engaged for sometime.Love how it looks and its pretty sturdy too.

Fun learning toy
Bought this for my son to learn his shapes and found this to be a fun item for him. Comes with lots of shapes for them to practice with and they all come in many different colors. The box itself is pretty light so if your kids carries it around and drops it it won’t hurt them. Our only complaint is even after the first couple times playing with it the paint started chipping off the shape pieces. Overall I thought this was a fun toy for our son to learn his shapes and learn some patience.

Granddaughter loves it!
We got this for our granddaughter when she was about 2 yrs, 8 months, now 2 months later she still loves it and itâs the first toy she goes for when she comes over. Some of the shapes are very tricky and we still have to help, but sheâs very good natured about it ⦠if your child was easily frustrated this may not be an appropriate toy until theyâre between 3 and 4. She also loves stacking all the blocks to make a tower. It was the perfect toy for a child with her temperament.
Cheap materials, cheap design
If you want something cheap, don’t have much money, it’s a go to. It does the job, but the wood is cheap, the little shapes too and the cover will be removed often and eventually get lost because it just slides in quite losely.

Omg! My daughter is obsessed with shapes and absolutely loves this toy! We are a big Melissa & Doug family and we love their wooded toys. This cube is fun and has 12 shapes! The only thing I will say that I don’t like about it is the method to retrieve the shapes once they have been inserted. You remove one side of the cube by sliding the side out. The side slides out very easily and therefore slides out ALL the time! Not just when you are wanting it to! Otherwise this toy is amazing!
