This is so much fun. Beware that it requires bright light to work. When we leave pieces off and turn off the lights, it will be activated and make sounds. My son is not quite 2 and he is able to complete the puzzle independently. The sound runs for a short time and you have to wait to put the next piece on or it will not make the sound.
Melissa & Doug Vehicles Puzzle
This is a top quality puzzle and my two grandsons have had great enjoyment playing with this puzzle. They have been able to easily hold the pieces and put them in the proper spots. They have learned the sounds of the vehicles and the names of them as well. The puzzle is made with top quality wood and is nothing less than I would have expected from Melissa and Doug. I have bought their products before and have been just as happy with this puzzle as I have with every thing else of theirs that I have purchased. The pictures on the puzzle are beautifully coloured and bright. I would recommend this puzzle to anyone with little ones. The battery has lasted for a year without dulling at all. I would buy more of their puzzles hands down, and recommend you try them as well. The sounds of the vehicles are exact as well.

This is a great product for kids. My 18 month old was in love with it as soon as we put the batteries in. He plays with it everyday. The value is great, the product is sturdy and the sounds are realistic.

Cute sound puzzle. Unlike some of their other sounds puzzles this one makes the sounds when the pieces are placed in rather than taken out, which makes it a bit harder for toddlers to use with the sound.good build quality and good value.

Bought this for 2-year old nephew who is obsessed with cars, trucks, all things that move. He loved it so much he wanted to bring it to bed! I’ve bought similar ones for my kids and other nieces and nephews depending on their interests – they can do it themselves, not too easy, not too hard, and nicely interactive.

Even if you have the piece couple of centimeters above the wooden base, it starts playing the other vehicles’ sounds when passing through them.Creates such confusion and it’s definitely not working as intended.Else, of course you can hold the bloody piece high above your head or such, and put it directly to the relevant slot, which a toddler can’t and won’t.Another junk goes to the trash.
