This is a simple toy that will definitely help hand and eye coordination. It is simply made but there are no splinters or sharp edges. The colours look a little bit washed out. I’m not sure how well they will stand the test of time.Getting the pegs in is satisfying and seeing them pop up when you press them down and release adds some longevity to the toy.This is a pleasant enough toy with some physical learning benefits but it does seem a little bit expensive. I suspect you are paying a premium for the sustainable credentials.This is good for very young children but older ones will tire of it before too long.
This toy is good simple fun. The spring up design works well, and actually responds better to a gentle touch, so handy for teaching my son about ‘gentle hands’. Its mostly made of wood, which gives it a really solid feel to it. Everything is really well finished and decorated, so rough edges and gives the impression of really high quality. Would be a perfect gift for a 1 year old, or older.
