So cool looking. Was a gift for my granddaughter and she loved it (she’s 10). I love how it has lights and moving parts. Not very difficult but as with most things she did need a tad of help from her parents. All in all this is super.

DO NOT BUY!!!We purchased this “Lego” aquarium because Lego’s version is ten times the cost and looks far more childish then this one.The instructions are NOT clear, trying to get the pieces to fit together takes a lot of strength.Absolutely horrible product!!!

While the set shines in appearance, a few issues arise during the build process. Some of the technic pieces are overly tight, and certain building techniques compromise the stability, causing minor frustrations. Additionally, one malformed piece was unusable, though thankfully, it didnât impact the final result.The set comes in a beautifully printed box and the instruction booklet is clear and easy to follow. Each step is indicated with a helpful red outline, making it simple to know exactly what to do next. The pieces are divided into numbered bags, which correspond to three major steps, helping to organize the build and break it down into manageable sections. The build itself took me a little over three hours to complete, offering a nice, engaging project that can be done in one sitting or over a few sessions.Once completed, the set seems very stable, despite some initial concerns during the building process. It also boasts a manually operated mechanical feature that animates sea creatures like fish, jellyfish, and crabs, which adds a delightful touch of life to the tank. The two brick lights (battery operated) illuminate the scene, making it a standout display piece.At its current price, the set offers great value, with a price-per-piece ratio of about 5 cents. Given the amount of detail and the final display, I believe itâs a solid deal. However, due to some of the challenges mentioned, I would recommend it for builders aged 12 and up, as the set requires more attention, dexterity, and finger strength than anticipatedâeven for me as an adult.Overall, it’s a charming set at a reasonable price point, ideal for older kids who will enjoy both the build and the display. I brought this for Christmas for someone but after unboxing realized that it was missing a few pieces and didnt have extras of them. Had to go out and purchase it.
