My dog Ginger has loved it! Keeps her occupied for at least a half hour if I hide the treats well enough. Iâve had it a month and so far itâs holding up well.
I bought a small mat for my little chi Abby. She loves it. So I decided to buy this big one for Christmas. After examining for it for a little bit, she started playing with it. Now she really likes to snuffle! She attacks it like crazy and digs at it. She really likes the middle. Best thing I could buy for her. It’s sturdy and doesn’t shred or come apart.
this is one of the larger ones we could find for our bigger guy. he would clean out smaller ones in a few minutes. this one keeps him busy longer (not too long) but we find that he will randomly go back to it and still find treats days later! the center (hard) zone is not hard. He cleans that one out first. could be more “puzzly”, but still entertaining and gives enough challenge for an average food motivated dogOne con is that on ours the center orange “fingers”; some were already falling out, we just cut them off.
Our dog is fairly large (currently 90 lbs at 9 months old, projected to be 130ish full grown) so we knew we needed a large snuffle mat that was also durable.Have had it for less than a week but it has gotten its use already, the pup loves it, and she hasnât been able to tear it up yet even when pulling areas to try and get deeper to some of the treats/kibble hiding in the tougher spots.Love this purchase and will definitely purchase again when this one inevitably gets worn out.
This is made of thin and cheap materials that are also very stiff. It wonât hold up to a dog pawing at it. The middle part is supposed to be the âhardâ portion for dogs but it literally doesnât even cover small treats. The picture makes it seem much fuller but the pieces are all very short and donât hide much. I wouldnât buy again as itâs a waste of money.
