Exactly what I wanted
Edit* I added a couple of pics for those with leather or pu leather. To mitigate slipping, I tucked a mouse pad under the backrest, keeping the rubber part up to stop the cushion from moving around. I’m sure your chair would do the same, hell tape one in if you have to lol. The cushion is great, prob not for heavy people though (190lbs here)I love my old executive chair. It has a wide seat base which let’s me sit cross legged easily. It has has great support for my back, but the ass pain I’d get from the firm seat made me move my computer set up to my couch years ago.I’ve been in the market for a new chair, as I have to use a desk for a while, but I haven’t been able to find a comfortable enough seat.This cushion is the perfect bandaid. It’s so comfy, even after a few hours seated. I sit cross legged, normal, one leg under etc…It always feels comfortable and pops back into shape afterwards. It’s wide enough to fit my seat too.The only gripe I have is how easily it slips off, due to the leather of my chair. I wish it had a rubber-like bottom. I wound up using a thin rubber pad under it to keep it from moving.All in all, this pad is great for my needs, will be another as a gift.Btw I’m 190lbs or so

Good affordable option for general needs memory foam
I gave it 4 stars because while it’s great, it’s not perfect.I got a new chair with great lumbar support, but found that my butt was getting sore after sitting for a more than a couple hours at a time, particularly when I was leaned back and had my pelvis tilted forward a bit (so my weight was on the top/back half, and my torso was shaped more like a less extreme C). I didn’t have any sort of pain in my tailbone particularly, so I wanted a foam cushion that would cover the whole chair, not one of the coccyx ones, since I shift my position a lot.Over all, this is a great cushion and has really improved my comfort level while sitting. I still get that soreness if I lean back and tilt my pelvis, but it’s not as bad and doesn’t happen as quickly as before, so I can sit for longer before needing a break.Thickness: The cushion is quite thick and does give me more height, but it’s actually kind of a bonus for me because the arms of my chair didn’t tuck under the desk at all at my previous chair height and with this cushion, I could lower the height of my chair and it now tucks under further than before, and I like to be close to my desk. So it worked out for me. It probably gives me between 1-3 inches of additional height (the span is due to softness, which I’m about to talk about).Softness: the cushion is quite soft, so if you like it on the firm side, this might not be right for you. My chair’s problem was firmness, so I wanted a soft cushion, and this is good for me. With that softness, though, comes the fact that as you sit on the cushion, it does sink down. At it’s thinnest, it is still more comfortable than my chair was, but the best is when you’ve just sat down and it’s still soft and fluffy. It hasn’t given me any trouble with puffing back up after I’ve been up, so it’s keeping its original shape fairly well, although there is some slight between where my weight is placed and not placed. I cross my legs a lot (like as I’m seated criss-cross apple sauce style, it’s weird, I know) so the middle part is puffier than the outside, but not to the point that it’s negatively affecting usability.Additional: Of course, it has the removable cover that you can take off and wash, and the cushion itself is allegedly washable and comes with instructions on how to wash it. I haven’t needed to wash it so far, personally, but I don’t sweat a whole lot while sitting. That being said, it isn’t the most breathable of things, so when you sit for a long time, it can lead to some sweating. Again, for me, it’s very minor and not really noticeable, but if you’re someone who sweats a lot, it could potentially be a problem, but I don’t think it’s much less breathable than most other seating materials. It’s more breathable than the my chair was before due to its faux leather, so it’s also still an improvement for me. It’s also very light weight, in my opinion, I wouldn’t have a problem carrying this around if I needed to, but there isn’t a handle that I can see.All in all, it’s a really great and affordable cushion if you don’t have any special medical needs. I didn’t give five stars because while it’s great, it’s not perfect. If it could retain its thickness without sacrificing softness, and slightly improve breathability that would be ideal, but a gel cushion might be a better option for that instead of memory foam.

This cushion is very compressible
I like the cushion, because it has a nice thickness and a removable washable cover. But, it looks like the entire thickness of the cushion is made of memory foam, which means that when you sit on it, it will compress significantly – so that it is more like 2 cm thick, not 7.5 cm thick where your weight is. I think the cushion would work better if the top of it was memory foam, and the bottom of it was high-density foam, to provide both cushioning and support. I might try to put in a thin layer of Evazote foam or other closed-cell camping pad foam at the bottom to improve that support. That shouldn’t be too hard, because the cushion has a zipper. I’ll post again when I have results.UPDATE: I put in the layer of stiffer foam at the bottom of the pad, but it wasn’t enough to compensate for the compression of the memory foam. I decided it wasn’t useful on the wooden kitchen chair that I’m using as the chair for my home computer. Instead, I’m now using it on the already-padded desk chair at my work desk, where it adds just a little extra padding. For my wooden chair, I’m using the Modvel cushion (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0759S3TZ9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1), which is a lot more supportive, and is also designed to prevent pressure on your tailbone. The Modvel cushion is also a lot stiffer, however, so for those of you who like soft luxurious cushions, the Modvel might not be right for you either. That cushion might benefit from a top layer of softer foam (which I have yet to try).

Bought for a friend to use when driving… couldn’t thank me enough..said its so comfy and ads a bit of height or back support when driving.
