No instructions and no way to turn it on. Useless waste of time and $.

It turned out much smaller than advertised. Itâs very hard to read, unless closeby.
Does not work
This product showed up not working I requested a refund. Was informed to call a phone number to arrange pick up, I have called 4 x. First time on hold 30 mins, second time 43 minutes on hold, 3 time 1hr 18 on hold, four time 59 minutes on hold. I can not get a hold of the company to pick up to return this product now past the time limit to get my refund. Do not buy this product
Flimsy casing, misaligned screen
This little meter did include a 2032 battery but without any plastic divider breaking the circuit and any idea of how long it’s been sitting…it was obviously long dead.The battery case unscrews via a tiny indented +, which wears and chips as soon as you stick something in there to twist it. Don’t push too hard when inserting it back in or the entire backing creaks and pops.A new 2032 fixed the unit not working out of the box, and after it settled in matched (within a degree of temperature and a few percent of humidity) a few other meters I have on hand. I don’t expect it to be incredibly accurate but it’s well within the range.Once working with a new battery it was also pretty obvious that the screen is wonky. There is no liquid crystal bleed or anything but the layers are out of alignment just enough for everything to look blurry/double when you look at it. It was hard to photograph, but I cannot look at it for too long or I feel like I’ve gone cross-eyed.If you glance quickly at it from a distance after replacing the dead included battery the actual values aren’t bad and earn it an extra star. It even includes a stand (plastic tab) that you’ll want to glue in place as it’s so lightly pressure fit that it falls out when you lift it.
Electronic Hygrometer
This device let’s me get an idea of the level of humidity in the house.
It’s not accurate at all
I have 3 different humidifiers in a room and 1 independent hygrometer to compare with. Everything is aligned in measurements except this thing. They all report near 50% but this thing right next to a humidifier is telling me it’s 30%. Yeah right. In the bin it goes.
