This blanket is the best baby blanket ever! It requires no skill to swaddle a baby well (though the first time I felt like I was putting my baby in a straight jacket) but this blanket was a lifesaver when I had a super colicky baby who screamed for hours on end. This was the only way she slept in the evening for months. If she wasnât swaddled with this she was either screaming or nursing (the only other method to prevent her screaming). This is the only thing I buy as a baby gift, It is a complete necessity for me!
This swaddle is amazing for my daughter. Iâve bought 3! She was little at full term birth weighing at 5lbs 4oz and she startled awake so bad I need something that would be tight and arms down. I have been using the miracles for the last 3 months now and my girl has been sleeping through the night since 5 weeks old. Of course no swaddle is a guarantee to make your baby sleep but for us these have worked amazing for sleep and calming. I can even put my baby girl to bed awake in this swaddle and sheâll fall asleep on her own.
Love this swaddling blanket. The inner layers that cover the arms work great and my baby can no longer escape her swaddle. The only complaint is during the middle of the night diaper changes, you have to undo ALL the layers which in turn upsets my baby to re strap her arms down.
The only way I could like this blanket more is if it had some sort of clip to keep it closed. It doesn’t matter because it’s so long it wraps perfectly around my baby, but I still think some sort of closure (I’m thinking of the thing that keeps an ace bandage together on a sprained wrist or something) would be nice.
