Not worth it
The idea is great but because itâs app based it kicked us out without letting us know or alarms would go off constantly. Not ideal and definitely did not give us a piece of mind.

I have been using the Monbaby button since my 4 month old came home from the hospital. This amazing little button has picked up every apnea episode my little one has had allowing us to wake her and get her breathing again. She will eventually end up on a medical grade apnea monitor bit for now this thing is my sanity and peace of mind to be able to sleep.My button malfunctioned about 3 months into using it and the Monbaby customer service team was on the ball, they helped me to troubleshoot the button and when it wasn’t a simple fix. They sent a replacement out right away. They were kind understanding and professional all at once.I live this button and love the company. I recommend the Monbaby to anyone with a baby.
The idea of it is amazing. So small and you can clip it onto any onesie or sleeper…. BUT it allllllways loses connection. Even if baby is in the same room. Also, you have to calibrate it EVERY time. Feed in the middle of the night? You’ve either gotta turn it off and calibrate it again or listen to your phone freak out because she’s “on her belly” when you’re burping her. Also, I tried it for about 3 nights & then just left it on the nightstand and logged out of the app. It’s been about 4 weeks and the battery is already dead. Don’t waste your money until they improve it. Get a Snuza instead.
The description states that the product monitors baby’s breathing, which is not correct. This device JUST monitors baby’s movement. I think it is not correct to mislead customers. On the graphics of the application, shows the curve for breathing monitoring, that is also inaccurate, as the only curve that is displayed, is the one corresponding to activity.
I was disappointed with this product. In theory it was really cool, but when ours arrived I couldn’t leave the room without an alarm going off on my phone from the monitor app saying that I was out of range. It literally only worked if I was sitting right next to the baby. Which if I’m doing that, I don’t need a monitor… Cool technology, just didn’t work as advertised, for us. The directions in the box explain it’s intended use much differently than the videos on their website. Sent it back, hoping a for better product in the future.
I mean itâs okay. It doesnât really ease my mind at all and I only used it a few times so far. I will use it more when my baby sleeps in her own room… it kind of measures her breathing and her position so I guess it does what itâs supposed to do.
