This is a very innovative and educational fun game designed for kids 3 to 5 years old, but enjoyed by 3 year olds to adult. The physical dimensions of the game are 11 1/2â (29.2 cm) square with a magnetic maze puzzle board with a dinosaur theme, mounted on a 1/2 inch wooden board. The game involves moving coloured magnetic balls through well thought out channels by using a magnetic pen and innovative ball transporters. The game also has a counting and colour-recognition theme in the number and colours of the individual balls. For instance, there are 10 slots at the bottom of the board, and these can hold all the balls in columns of ascending order. In addition, the balls are coloured in 10 different colours. For example: 1 black, 2 grey, 3 white, etc. all the way up to 10 green. There are 55 balls in all, enough to fill all the columns at the bottom of the board, by number or colour. In addition, there is a large open square at the top of the board. This square has 110 holes for making patterns or pictures using the coloured balls. A slot at the top of the square will hold one of 13 double sided cards with object patterns to copy. An included pamphlet of Bead Puzzle Instructions also illustrates the alphabet or numbers to copy. This is a well designed, and thought-out game which aids in skills development, number and colour recognition, and just plain fun. Recommended.
