Cheap and not worth the money
I bought this product in January 2023 and at this point the camera display screen will only work when plugged in. The camera has steadily been getting worse and worse over the past 8 months. Frequently having to unplug cameras and reset them. The display screen stopped working in its own about a month ago, we noticed it would shut off and stop working altogether. We tried to get a replacement when we first started having issues but the seller wanted us to purchase another one and then send this in and wait for a refund, something we werenât interested in doing. I donât recommend this to anyone there are far better dual cameras out there
It’s now Oct 2023. We had 11 great months of use, then the battery started failing. I contacted Moonbaby customer service and they fixed it and fixed it quickly. Happy customer again.
I loved this monitor at first because it’s low EMF, has no Wi-Fi connection, travels well, and the video quality is great. However, after only 9 months of use, the monitor battery life is trash. The monitor will last up to 6 hours or 30 seconds on a full charge. The monitor will show 3 bars on the battery and then blink red and turn off within a minute. The monitor also has a constant static sound as soon as the battery shows less than 50%. After reading other reviews, I’m not the only one to experience this and I wish I would have taken the other reviews into account before purchasing. This product is a waste of money.I have reached out to the manufacturer to inquire about their warranty and have been ignored.
I love this monitor, is has great clarity on the cameras, does not need wifi, and is super easy to use, or bring on the go.. Unfortunately though, Iâve bought 2 of these, and after less than a year, both of them stopped working. The cameras are fine, but the screen turns totally black and video is totally gone. Really sucks because theyâre really nice, but they are expensive to replace
Iâm due with baby #2 in a month and was looking for a split screen monitor so I purchased a Motorola one about a week and a half ago; the quality is terrible, itâs extremely zoomed in (you need an extension cord to raise it high enough to see the entire crib), the parent unit is super laggy, and it constantly clicks – with that being said, I started a return and began looking for another monitor that would be the exact opposite of what I just experienced. JACKPOT. This is the clearest baby monitor quality Iâve EVER seen. There is virtually no lag, tons of settings you can personalize such as temperature warnings, speaker volume, split screen or scan, etc. We received it while our daughter was napping so I just plugged it into a kitchen outlet to test it out and it connected on its own in less than 2 seconds. This monitor is worth every penny! And the split screen option is available with the quick push of a button. I will recommend this product to everyone. Sometimes the brands youâve never heard of end up being the best!! Iâll update later if I have to, but this quality is so amazing that even if something minor went wrong, Iâd still recommend this product to my mom friends!
I have 3 children, I was looking for a monitor I can see all 3 kids at the same time and I didnât want a minute I can sync up with my phone. I wanted just a plug in wall and go. I found these I will say there are aspects that I live and I think are awesome.Pros – can connect 4 cameras to 1 monitor/ music / nite light/ can talk to children thru monitor/ customer service is amazing.Cons – BATTERY LIFE SUCKS!!!I have gone thru about 3 monitors and all monitors stop holding a charge at about 3-4 months. I contacted customer service and they sent me replacements. After the 3 one doing the same thing I stopped calling and I know just keep the monitor plugged in. Other than the battery life I love these, unfortunately the battery life not holding charge makes it very inconvenient for any busy mom.
