I cannot get this paired. Hopefully I find a solution. My gut is that this is not very compatible with IPhone and IPads. it should not be this difficult.
This has a pretty simple setup once you download the app. However, you do need to be quite close to the router at first when you are setting up so keep that in mind before setting up the camera on the wall etc. I have used it for about a week or so now and it did disconnect and I could not get it to connect back until I unplugged it from the wall and waited for a bit and then plugged it back in that it started to work again. It does take about 5-15 seconds or so to connect when you open the app and has about a 5 second lag on the video.
We bought this so that we could keep an eye on the dogs when were camping and away from the camper. I guess what I didn’t realize was that I would need to use a hotspot when we were away from home. Doable, but one of us needs to offer us a cellphone. Otherwise the unit is solid. Even though I didn’t give it 5 stars, I would still buy it again.
Easy to set up and use. Crisp, clear picture. Love the Motorola brand. Never disappointed.
