This baby monitor is easy to set up. No need to connect it your router or deal with having to connect to a Wi-Fi network. It also has works pretty well in low light settings, providing a black and white view when you don’t want the light shining on your baby when he’s sleeping. The only thing that prevents this from 5 stars is that the quality of the camera is very mediocre by modern standards.
Our original baby monitor set up died recently and despite our daughter being older (4) we like to use it and keep a eye on her when she’s playing in her room upstairs. I like how straight forward this set up is. I do not want the requirement of putting it on our wifi network so that I can have piece of mind that it’s not viewable by “bad actors”. The quality is decent enough and we have enjoyed having it in the house.

It’s easy to use but the picture quality is not great. It’s really mediocre at best and if I am monitoring a baby, I want to be able to see details like stuffy noses, shallow breathing, etc. Disappointed.
Easy and immediate connection. However the picture quality on the monitor was horrendous. Less than 720p on a monitor that costs more than $150 is ridiculous. Itâs frustrating that the picture is advertised as 1080p when the monitor screen clearly isnât.No ability to pan/tilt from the monitor and the narrow area captured is not acceptable at this price.
