How many ways can I express that this was THE BEST EVER FULL baby product line that they used to carry and, was the best product for CLEAN plant based organic holistic baby products on the market! I have extremely sensitive skin and have used CLEAN baby products since they first came on the market because ALL the common baby products that ARE NOT holistic and plant based are made with mineral oil which is a TOXIC OCCLUSIVE and actually can cause not only skin issues but, BUT also health issues (mineral oil toxicity can cause a serious lung disorder in babies). Mineral is the skin care industrie’s “dirty little secret-everyone should do their due dilligence and research the problems with MINERAL OIL which is in over 95% of ALL skin care products!).So, unfortunately several years ago, Mrs Meyers decided to discontinue the CLEAN DAY BABY PRODUCTS but at some point brought back only the laundry soap but NO COMPANION FABRIC SOFTENER!! It is SO frustrating not having a fabric softener to pair with this stellar laundry soap! Every other laundry product they make has the companion fabric softener! So, I would suggest for those who read this and use the CLEAN DAY BABY LAUNDRY SOAP to start calling Mrs. Meyers and asking (begging!) for them to offer THE fabric softener with the same formula because even scent free softeners diminish the wonderful CLEAN DAY scent and when there is a companion softener for a specific laundry soap, obviously the softener enhances the scent of the soap!!! By the way, the entire CLEAN DAY BABY line they used to offer was absolutely exceptional-the baby lotion was so AWSOME and was one of the few (even in other plant based lines) that REALLY WORKED on my ultra sensitive skin not to mention that the fragarance of that line was AMAZING!!! When I discoveed that they were discontinuing the entire line, I bought every single product I could find in my town and to this day, still using the lotion-have one more unopened bottle and am dreading the day it is gone! EVERYONE WHO LOVES THIS LINE PLEASE PLEASE CALL MRS. MEYERS AND ASK FOR AT LEAST A COMPANION FABRIC SOFTENER IF THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO BRING BACK THE ENTIRE BABY LINE!

I needed to change up the detergent I was using. As I get older my skin makes decisions for me without my permission, the latest change was to start having reaction to regular laundry detergent. I’d had similar issues-dry skin, itchy, red spots-the fun stuff…-when I was pregnant with my oldest, I ended up using baby detergent and the issue cleared right up so I figured I’d try it now.I like most of Mrs. Meyers products and figured I’d give this a go. While it did help with the skin issues, I don’t feel like it was getting some of my clothes as clean as I wanted-jeans, heavy tops-but my thinking is that this is designed for babies clothes and linens. The smell is subtle, and I do like it but it does not last long, not even on my sheets or towels. There is no replacement odors, just stops smelling like the detergent shortly after coming out of the dryer and being folded. For the price point I decided to go a different direction for baby laundry detergent and am happier with my choice. I would really like to see Mrs. Meyers come out with a sensitive skin detergent for adults that has this scent, that maybe would last longer? As far as use on baby clothes and linen, I would recommend simply because it did help with my sensitivity issues and that was the primary reason I purchased it.
