Got a size bigger just in case and you don’t need to.
Absolutely love the jacket it’s beautiful, got a size bigger just in case for my daughter and it’s a bit big but she’ll be able to wear it for a while! The buttons are a little looser than I thought but still over all happy (gives you an extra button and two extra clips)

My daughter were this jacket for Halloween (she was Mary Poppins ) and it was warm and fits perfectly

Super cute coat, cuter than in the online pics. My daughter didn’t want to wear it when she saw it online, but loved twirling in it once it arrived. The size 5 fit more like an old navy size 6 or xs, so it was drastically wider than expected and the sleeves were 1 5″ too long.I’ll hoping taking in the back will slim it down. I would say this coat definutely fits wide vs average or slim.
My daughter is 9 years old, usually a size 9/10 USA, and I’m glad I went with the size 12, it has some room to layer and still looks great on her. Her shoulders are an exact fit in a size 12. The coat is very good for a California winter, going to school, feels warm and cozy. My daughter says the buttons are a bit hard to get on and off but I figure fine motor skills practice, that said buttons definitely not made for an autistic kid in mind. The coat is very soft and I’d say thumbs up on material for a kid with sensory issues.
I needed a blue coat for our family photos and I was reluctant to buy this. When it comes to clothing on amazon its hit or miss! I’m so happy with the look of this coat. My daughter wears an 18 months. She’s very very petite for a 2 and 1/2 year old. I read the reviews and learned that the coat was very slim and it was. The 2T fit like a glove. The sleeves were an inch too long but I tucked them in with no problem. It’s a coat warm enough for a chilly day. It does not feel cheap. It’s not super light nor is it heavy. It’s somewhere in-between. It’s definitely not meant for the snow. Get an appropriate winter coat if you live in a cold state. This coat was meant for style and provides only medium warmth. Perfect for California winters! Buy it! You’ll love the look of it!
My daughter is a tall and solid 6 year old (60 lbs. 3â11â and currently wears a size 10-12 in kids and the 8-10 fits her perfectly. (We exchanged for size 10-12, way too big). Good length on her arms with room to spare so we can hopefully enjoy it next winter. Itâs fully lined and warm for school, with pockets. A bit heavier and formal but the color makes it casual. She wears it over her school uniform when itâs really cold out. We love this coat!

I bought it for my niece to wear with a party dress and looked very elegant, the only thing that I disliked is that I had to sew some buttons back on the coat and reinforce others that came very loose and almost falling
