Munchkin Fishin Baby and Toddler Bath Toy (Pack of 1)

Excellent fishing set
My son ripped the handle of his bath bucket and said he was going fishing, so I thought it was time to get him a proper fishing rod.The rod is perfect in size for my 2.5 year old. Its not too big where he is hitting the wall or where I am worried he will hit himself in the head with it. Its a nice bright and colourful green and easy to hold. The reel just makes clicking sounds which he is not very interested in.The fish are bottom heavy so they always float upright with the magnets facing up. This makes them easy to catch when you hover over them. The magnets are quite strong as well. If you have a metallic tub they will stick and stay. Even when wet and covered in soap they will not slide down, so I would say the magnets are good quality. My son has thrown and banged them many times and none have broke, cracked or lost their magnetism to date.I was initially disappointed that the rope didn’t retract, I knew this before I bought it. But after giving it some thought, thinking about the soap and water going inside the rod and the mould that would occur, I am very happy it does. Makes rinsing and cleaning much easier and I know its not a toy that will make my son ill.My only complaint is I wish it came with 5 fish or you could buy others separately and in different styles.Overall, this is an excellent fishing set and would buy again and I may to get some additional fish and another rod to play along.Pros:- great bath time fun- easy to hold and play with; helps develop hand and eye coordination- quality is quite good and magnets are stronger than expectedCons:- would like more fish

Fun Pretend Fishing Toy for Tots
This little toy is a fun, first “fishing rod” and items for any toddler to use in the bathtub. The bobber at the end of the string line has a magnet that attaches to the tops of the three items (a fish, an octopus, and a diver). The reel moves, and makes noise as if you are actually reeling in the line. Unfortunately, the string line does not actually reel in or out. But that makes me feel that this item completely safe, with supervision. The plastic is smooth, no rough spots, and the items listed above are big enough that a one year old can safely play with this, with supervision. The toy as a whole is good quality, and not easily breakable. I purchase three of the same toy to share with other friends that have children. I would recommend others to try this as a fun bath toy

Fun bath times!
I got two of these for my boys when they were 1 and 4. They are now 3 and 6 and still play with them in the bath. Planning on getting another one as we have a 3rd and she love using it as well. Wish there was more fishes because they like to see who can catch more fishes.

Water in the Rod
While this toy is adorable, and the magnets are strong, if you’re trying to avoid toys that can get mould growth inside, this may not be the best choice. There’s a hole that water can get into in the rod and, even if you try to shake it all out, it doesn’t dry easily. It’s an entertaining toy, but if you want to just be able to put a bath toy away without too much effort, this one isn’t it!

Granddaughter is almost two and loves this set. It doesn’t keep her attention as long as it could. After picking up three items, there’s not much left to do. I have to keep putting the captured toys in the “pond”. It would be nice if they sold an extra package of magnetic fishing items.

Product arrived as expected and in good time. Looking forward to giving it to my nephew for his bathtime, I think he will love it.
