I bought this when first potty training my daughter and I didnât think much of how well it worked until I bought a different brand for our downstairs washroom. The other brand I bought had no grip and it didnât fit the toilet seat properly, so everytime my daughter sat on it, it would slide up or down and would sometimes pinch her little fingers cos sheâs holding on to the side. It was so bad. It was then I realized how good this one is! So I bought another for our downstairs washroom! Fits the toilet seat just right and the grip makes all the difference! It doesnât move at all when my daughter sits on it and she even tells me everytime that she likes this one better. Itâs simple, comfortable and works really well. Canât ask for anything more.

This is the best potty seat! works great for any toilet seat (ours are not the standard size/shaped seats), sits on the seat perfectly, both my kiddos feel very comfortable and stable while on it. Works great for my son, who is 2.5 years old as far keeping the “fluid” contained lol (we also have taught him to point it down, so I will say that the barrier at the front isn’t the be all end all). I will agree with previous reviews that unless your child is able to lift themselves off the seat it can be a bit sticky as far as your child just trying to slide off the toilet. My daughter (4 years old) understands to lift herself off but my son did have an incident where he tried to slide off and kind of ended up dealing with some resistance and tumbling, but since that moment, he has learned to lift off the seat, rather than slide. So perhaps just be aware if your child is too little to lift themselves off they may require some help. My son has since figured out how to lift himself off, so no more problems, highly recommend this seat 🙂

This is a very well made seat. Itâs sturdy, really does grip the toilet seat.I was just confused by previous reviewers saying both it ONLY fits elongated seats and it DOESNT fit elongated seats.I will set the record straight. It DOES fit elongated seats but probably fits regular seats a little better.But donât let that deter you from buying. It sits on the toilet seat with about half an inch crack at the very tip, not affecting the seats use or reliability at all.PROS:Really does grip, will not be moving while my child gets into seat.Small footprint, I like that it doesnât have any annoying bulky handles for your child to sit on and hurt themselves but sitting on a handle when all theyâre trying to do is make it to the potty on time for some good old positive reinforcement.Cleans very easy, easier than my real adult toilet.CONS: My two year olds chubby bum fits enough to sit comfortably and pee. The hole though might be too small of an area for a boy doing #1 and #2. Iâm afraid if he goes #2 that his bum will be far back enough from peeing that he might #2 partially on potty seat. I could be wrong and only time will now (for now he only does #2 on a portable potty)

Love this thing! Itâs small and doesnât take up a lot of room, so itâs great for small bathrooms. High quality product, durable and made well. Daughter finds it very comfortable. Easy to travel with. Easy to clean. Lightweight. Definitely recommend!!
Lightweight, good design
Fits our round toilet perfectly. Doesn’t slip around due to the rubberized grip around the whole edge. My 2 year old can easily put it on the toilet and seems comfortable on it. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

My daughter is in middle of potty training. She sits on her portable princess potty seat but I was looking for a potty seat that I can fit on our toilet seat. Munchkin Grip potty training seat came as blessing for us. First of all, it is super easy to fix on a adult toilet seat. It fits perfectly on standard size toilet seat. Grip is good. Just put it and press it down. it stays put as it is. The white and green color blends well with our white toilet seat. I helped my daughter to sit on it. She sat comfortably with holding the seat on both sides. When she got up from it, the potty seat was stable and didn’t came out. I also liked the quality. The material of potty seat is of good quality, not too hard nor too soft. You can use a wipe to clean it. The splash guard is made of soft material too. I can store it vertically, when not in use. It is really useful for potty training my child and I am planning to use it, till she is confident enough to sit on adult toilet seat.Disclaimer: I received the product as a gift in exchange for my honest feedback.
I have elongated seats and I feel they are slightly bigger than average, so I was having a difficult time find a potty seat that would feel secure for my son to use. These were the solution! They can wiggle a little bit, but they are secure and fully fit my toilets. The splash guard is low enough he can sit over comfortably, but high enough to stop him from peeing over. I have noticed that at times, there can be a slight gap between this seat and the actual seat depending on how you place it on the seat, in which some pee can get onto the toilet seat, but it’s a minor amount and easy to clean up.The potty seat itself is easy to clean up and since I do have a boy, I do need to clean the splash guard after each use, but it’s really not an issue. It also has a slot on the back so you can hang it up (I use the Munchkin Potty Ring Storage Hook). Overall I’m very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone that has elongated toilets.
