Why arenât these made in bigger sizes??
We love almost everything about the Nanit camera & breathing tracking system, and itâs been one of our best baby purchases, if not the best. Even now our baby is 11 months but still if heâs napping extra-long, I start worrying a bit, but then I just look on my phone and see that heâs still breathing and just in a deep sleep and I stop worrying. The bands are supposed to fit a baby up to 24 months, but heâs not even a year old and right on the 50th percentile for weight for his age, and they barely close over his sleep sack. I know they say the band should be worn over light clothing, but itâs not like you can put a blanket over them, so you need some way of keeping them warm enough at night, hence the slightly padded sleep sac. And the breathing tracking still works fine with that, but in a couple of months we wonât be able to track his breathing anymore, only because they donât make a larger band than this. So stupid.
Eases mind and mommy and daddy can rest easy
Works awesome with the camera. Plain bedding. Sheets preferred for less false alarms on the Nanit camera

I bought the nanit to help ease my postpartum anxiety when it came to sleeping. I used to get so nervous about the baby breathing at night that I wasn’t resting as well as I should have been. The nanit has helped with that tremendously. I recently bought new bands just because it is nice to have multiple ones on hand in case you have to change one in the middle of the night due to diaper messes!

Weâve been using the Nanit camera for about 9 months with our little one (now 11 months old) and loved the slick app interface with the personalized intelligence/smarts built in. Itâs really given us some great insights into helping our son sleep and easy access for all of our sonâs caretakers/family.For that entire time, weâve also been using an Owlet in order to monitor his vitals and heaven-forbid alert us if anything was wrong. The Owlet was one of the only products available at the time providing the peace of mind we wanted. But it was an extra piece of technology strapped to our baby, daily charging, separate equipment/apps, and regular sock cleanings. Nothing too bad but was additional steps integrated into our daily baby routine.When we heard about the Breathing Wear it was such an obvious and awesome solution. The biggest draw was, the cost of adding a piece of clothing (the Breathing Wear) was minuscule compared to the value it brought to the already great Nanit camera. It felt like you bought a bumper sticker for your car and you suddenly get satellite radio!Weâve already moved on from swaddles and we use the Breathing Band around our sonâs sleep sack for his naps and night sleeps in the crib. Just open the app, click the new icon on the app and with a screen confirmation suddenly our Nanit camera is reporting breathing rates. So easy, didnât even have to follow the instructions. Our son moves around a ton in his sleep. Rolling over on his stomach, sides, and back multiple times. This thing still can capture the breathing and we havenât run into any issues.Weâre really pleased with our purchase, itâs an amazing feature to an already stellar video/sleep baby monitor.
Does what it needs to do
Absolutely love the Nanit products. They are all a bit pricey, but totally worth it to both my husband and I. There have been multiple times where I open my Nanit to peek at my baby and he is just facedown sleeping. If I did not have this, I would panic and immediately run in to move him. With using Nanit, I can see his breathes per minute and feel at ease knowing that Nanit will alert me if there is an issue. My baby has also never seemed to mind that his was sleeping with it on. We never put it on too tight and the Nanit is still able to accurately read his breathes per minute.
