Love love love this product. It’s a little expensive but worth every penny as it gives peace of mind when your little one is sleeping. I like that you can move the head and put it on the portable base if needed (great of traveling).
The Camera the Does it All
This is a one camera does all! The app is not only good for all the functions of the camera, but it also collects memories, and you can post milestone photos within the app for your own personal enjoyment. The standard, non-paid subscription has all the functions. The paid versions allow more functionality and longer storage of moments, etc. i would recommend this camera for all parents, as it also allows for purchasing of growth sheets and breathing bands to monitor. The quality of the camera itself is outstanding. The only thing you need is wifi! It travels very well, and a travel stand can be purchased as well as a travel case to protect it. The price is comparable to other cameras of this kind, and is rated as one of the best on numerous parenting lists and websites for a reason.

ONE YEAR UPDATE: Guys, honestly save your money. Donât waste it on this garbage. This should cost no more than $100. Itâs ridiculous. Buy a reliable camera that wonât have you wake up in the middle of the night to check on baby because the nanit app is having YET another issue!ââFirst few weeks, we liked it. The breathing motion function brought peace of mind. But quickly enough, it started giving us fake alarms and caused so much stress!! We stopped using the breathing motion function after a couple of false alarms, so at that point having a camera that expensive wasnât worth it at all.My LO is 8 months old, so weâve been using that camera for about 7 months without the breathing function and itâs such a disappointment. We would have been better off with a normal monitor.The app keeps buffering, always needs to be reconnected.Itâs always ALWAYS a struggle to bring it on the go and connect it somewhere outside of the house. I brought it to my momâs house and I was unsuccessful connecting it because her wifi is not as strong as mine. I also brought it to a trip and IT NEVER WORKED at the hotel. Unable to connect it. I was unable to use it THE WHOLE TRIP. What a waste! Had I bought a regular monitor, I wouldnât have had all these issues. Paying all that money for a monitor that canât even be used easily outside the house is a complete waste.Another thing I donât like with the nanit, it will give you false information. For example, sometimes in the activity board youâll see things like : caregiver is helping âbabyâs nameâ, but in fact NO ONE went to your babyâs room to help him or her! Thatâs so weird and again causes anxiety for no reasons.I donât recommend buying this AT ALL. I regret spending all that money on that monitor.
Reliable, but short subscription
Good camera, much more reliable than the last wifi camera I purchased. The subscription with the camera appears to be only 6 months and not 1 year advertised here.
Great baby cam, excellent quality.
The video quality is excellent, it gives insightful information about our baby, tells us approximately when she fell asleep, etc. Easy to mount on the wall, the cord cover is a great idea as our baby is tall enough now to grab it. We never really used the baby mat or anything else or came with.Only negative thing I can say is it doesn’t travel well. It’s alot of work to set it up somewhere else besides home. And connecting to a public wifi doesn’t work. Has to be private, which is good but also annoying for hotels.
Such a good baby monitor
Really worth the price! I love that it gives you age related tips, shows you milestones, and even puts together little videos of the morning wake ups! Iâve never had any issues with glitching or anything. Highly recommend Nanit!
Great product
Product works great, we’ve taken it for travel and provides good peace of mind. App works well, sleep tight s we’re helpful in getting her sleep trained, after we transitioned her from a Snoo to her crib.
The peace of mind we get from having this incredible technology is priceless. It is so easy to use and the band is so comfortable on baby. The technology on this Nanit is reliable and is very easy to put together.
I bought this a friend who is a single parent. It’s brilliant! The baby is now one year old and my friend still uses the camera and takes it travelling with her. This camera picks up on movement and has a very clear picture. It sends notices to her phone which gives my friend the freedom to be able to leave the baby while she is out in the garden or at the other end of the house, or if she takes a shower or is studying. This camera provides a parent with peace of mind any time of day. It’s enabled my friend to be able to sleep more soundly at night knowing that the camera senses breathing and noise or lack of and alerts the parent. She has travelled with the camera, so she can leave the baby upstairs in a house while she visits with her friends or has a BBQ with same friends outside.
We love the Nanit system. Easy to use, great updates and functions, and camera works well.However I do think it is expensive and probably other cameras are better quality and less expensive.

I’ve been using this for two years did alot of research before hand. The belly band brings me peace of mind and is reliable. Compared to other competing products with the sock etc it’s much better.Never had any issues with connectivity, image quality is great and the travel stand works great and is convient, we bring it wherever we go even allows us to monitor him sleeping in the camper when we are out by the fire.Now that it supports Google devices it’s even better.Will be buying a second one for my next child.
