We received a previously opened item
Very unhappy with the quality of the packaging we received. It appears the box had been previously open. The cover had been ripped in multiple places and the tape holding the cover to the box had already been removed.We have returned this item and purchased through Nanit themselves.

It is Easy to install, good material and perfect resolution and features to monitor the baby.
Good and bad
Monitor quality is good. Connectivity is 85-90% reliable. Other time, the camera is searching for connectivity. You would expect seemless experience with the price and access to all features but you actually have little features compared to the subscription plan. Kind of make you feel like they are money hungry. Anyway, I think there are great monitors way cheaper for the same exact purpose.Edit: Very dissapointed in finding out that some of the free basic features at the begining were taken off. It used to recap the last night sleep and that free feature just got removed. I wish I could still get a refund because I would if this would still be eligible.
My worst baby purchase by far
This is so extremely expensive for what it does. The compatibility with my phone, ipad, and laptop (M1+ chips only, btw) make this worth 2 stars but it’s extremely overpriced.The night light has never, ever worked, which is a common problem. Nanit offers nothing in the way of product support. Buying it is a gamble because the best you will get from Nanit if something doesn’t work or breaks is “buy a new one”. No they will not give a refund or replacement. The extremely short term and very limited warranty is a joke.A terrible feature is the photo/screenshot option in the app. On your screen, while you watch your baby, there is a button to “take a picture” and it completely replaces the screen showing the live feed with a screenshot that looks exactly the same. It’s so easy to accidentally hit it and you think you’re watching your baby but it’s just a picture!!!!A camera with its own monitor for a quarter of the price is honestly fine. The device compatibility just doesn’t make the price tag worth it. It’s too expensive for what it does.I regret this purchase and would not recommend it at all.

Not much of a reviewer – wanted to do this one. Recommended from friends and family to get the Nanit.Super easy hardware and mobile app setup. I thought it was smart to design the ‘management channels’ (the extended pole going from the base to protect and organize the wire going to the outlet).The image & audio quality is very clear, especially during night/dark settings.Initially, I thought this was just a high-quality video monitoring system. I didn’t realize it provides all this data. I initially didn’t think it was necessary to have all that extra data of when the baby falls asleep, when they wake up in the middle of the night, how long it takes for them to sleep, how quickly they go back to sleep on their own, etc…but I can see now how this can be really useful. Nanit also provides ‘insight plans’ to help with providing parents additional tips on improving quality, duration etc. Very useful for parents who really want to know. Overall, great tech, design, features – happy I got it.
This camera is worth every penny! The Nanit Pro with floor stand has given us incredible peace of mind. The image quality is crystal clear, even in the dark, and the bird’s-eye view means we can see our baby no matter how much he wiggles around.Some highlights:Setup: The floor stand was incredibly easy to assemble and provides a stable base for the camera. No drilling or complicated mounting required.Crystal-Clear Video: The 1080p HD video is amazing. I can see every little detail, even in low light.Sleep Tracking: The Nanit Insights provides detailed information about my baby’s sleep patterns. Nanit with the floor stand has been an absolute must-have for us, especially now that weâre using it for our second child. Our first Nanit, which we bought five years ago for our older child, is still going strong, so we knew we were sticking with Nanit for baby #2. With our first kid I had only ever used the simple camera-on-the-dresser + receiver baby monitor. The nanit is a whole new experience.Yes, itâs easy to set up. Yes, itâs high quality. But for me, the big things were:1. The range â we used to be bound to a 50-75 foot radius, now I can mow the lawn during nap time.2. The smart video â the tech built into the camera/app where certain movements or activity triggers recording or a log of the info is great for reviewing.3. Getting to know the baby â I used to mostly rely on sound to learn the kidâs sleep habits, now I can understand at a deeper level what the baby needs and how she responds to different stimuli.All told, this thing is a game changer if you are looking for a more immersive experience. Personally I didnât mind the old âanalogâ baby monitor, but the nanit is a whole new experience.
