If you are lookinig to replace a Philips Avent, this is 99% the same
This is a great little monitor. We knew we didn’t want a WIFI monitor and so for our first child we had purchased a Philips Avent, which was perfect for us. The power button on the Philips finally failed and we had liked it so much that we wanted the same model again, but they are now discontinued. This Nannio is literally identical except for a few subtle cosmetic changes to the plastic housing. Either it’s made by the same manufacturer that was building them under license for Philips, or Nannio has taken over the Philips monitor factory, or whatever! Same great monitor that we liked before. Battery life is good, night vision is decent, and the adjustable noise gate and eco mode work as expected. We found out that the buttons failing on the Philips was a semi-common issue so while i’m not sure if the issue has been corrected on the Nannio or not we’re now very gentle with the power button presses. In fairness to the Philips, the old one was dropped pretty hard a few times by my daughter so that may have had something to do with it.
Great product
Itâs great we bought it bc our LilElf product kept freezing and crashing and we needed something reliable. This may not have the video quality and portability of the HD and Wi-Fi enabled devices but we can count on it, itâs never cut out and you can do one level of zoom if needed. The only negative I would say is how bright the screen is. We have it on the lowest brightness and itâs a beacon in the room. My husband keeps asking if my night table light is on lol, nope! Worth the money to have something like this that is dependable. And we love the custom volume options.

The camera on this is very clear, much better than the 150$ one I replaced with this one. The battery life is great. I wish it could zoom but otherwise perfect little camera

Camera won’t sync to the parent unit anymore
This was a wonderful monitor for about 8 months and then it randomly stopped syncing to the camera. Very sad.

100% recomendable
Doesn’t rotate on its own, but it will if you place it atop a rotating fan lol. The connection is good, I like that it doesn’t use internet. The image quality is poor, but I can at least see if she’s standing or sitting, awake or asleep. I really like that its silent until baby makes noise, then it starts transferring sound. There’s even settings so you can control whether it alerts you for every peep or just for loud crying. It also has lights and vibration to alert you if you prefer that to sound. Love that it monitors the temperature of baby’s room. Cool that it plays lullabies and lets you talk to baby, but haven’t really needed those features yet. Seems to hold a charge for the amount of time promised. I usually keep it plugged in next to my bed at night but carry it around the house with me during naps. Love that it’s its own thing not just an app because my phone isn’t always reliable to work right. Also I really like the design. And love love love that I can see baby at night but there’s no light in her room to disturb her. The colors are just funny on the night vision, but that doesn’t matter to me.
Recently my wife had major cancer surgery. This is a great product for monitoring her when I leave the room. Simple to set up and works for what I need. Connects easily from down stairs – Has a speaker so I can communicate with her when needed. Has other features I do not need now but we will be helping mind our new beautiful granddaughter and I plan to bring this with us. If you need a super high quality monitor this might not work for you but for the price it is perfect for us.
Awesome baby monitor. We have a Nanit we use regularly at home, but this is great for travel or when the Nanit network is down. Very easy to set up and use!
Bought two of these, and even after nearly two years of constant use, including dropping both camera and monitor, both sets work fine.Only minor issue and why I gave it only 4 stars, is that the communication between monitor and camera is not always ok, if the distance or number of walls between the two is too large. But in general, I never have a problem finding a good enough place for the monitor.
