A little goes a long way, a very good product and better for the environment.
I use the baby washing soda because of itâs stain removal properties it also seems to leave my laundry a little brighter than the regular washing soda, this is all I use now. Itâs excellent for sensitive skin and people who suffer with eczema or atopic allergies caused from the chemicals in soap and detergents. I ordered the tin (80 loads) itâs lasted almost a year! I can refill with the bags of Nellieâs.All in all a very good product itâs so nice not to have to buy the big heavy jugs of liquid detergent full of chemicals.
Only Used the Original so far
The original cannister lasted so long but was down to the last 2 loads so I purchased this one. Other reviews say it works as well as the original so I suspect that is true. I’m always happy with the results so far.

This is a wonderful detergent. I had a problem with a liquid detergent, Biokleen, leaving my clothes with a sour smell. After attempting different remedies and nothing working I looked into this product. It has worked very well. I donât have an infant but am allergic to certain fragrances so I chose a product which was free and clear of any fragrance. It cleans well with no post laundry smell.

I tried Nellieâs based on recommendation by a friend with eczema. My family has many skin allergies and the other free and clear type of laundry detergents were irritating our skin which required double rinsing, ,were not cleaning clothes and leaving behind unpleasant sweaty odors. Nellieâs removed these long term odors after the first wash, even in cold water. My clothes, sheets and towels are all odor free, soft and clean. Our skin is happy. I did contact Nellieâs prior to purchase. She immediately responded and answered all my questions. Iâm impressed with the product and the company support. This is my new go-to laundry soda. I donated all my other laundry detergents to the local laundromat.
**Update Dec 2021: Still using this for diapers and it works well! We’re completely on solids and the powder makes the diapers smell like nothing, that is until they are on his butt… but still, no poop or rancid pee smell. Also, they helped get red cake frosting out of red pants! Look at the before and after!**This stuff works great! Our baby is transitioning to solid food now and his diapers can get pretty yucky! But they are clean smelling and have very few stains after one regular wash with an extra rinse cycle added on. Only thing is that the tin came with a big dent in it and it isn’t very pretty. And the tin lid is hard to get off, so I’m always worried about the contents flying out if the tin slips out of my hand or if the lid comes off unexpectedly. But the product itself is great! I love that it is a natural solution. We use Arm and Hammer laundry soap with it.
I always had trouble with pilling on my clothes with commercial laundry detergent. After a few washes with this product the little balls are gone from all my clothes. I still use some borax and baking soda because I have nasty city water. Very happy with this product. I also like that I don’t smell like the nasty laundry detergent isle at the store.
