Thick And Dark!
What I Like – A great quality set of black out curtains that are well made. Multiple lengths to choose from, and different widths. Theyâre nice and heavy and also work at keeping some cold from the window away. The fabric is a good soft quality that make a room completely private when closed. Very easy to install on a curtain rod.What I Donât Like – Nothing yet.
Blocks light pretty good!
These blackout curtains I got really does its job. On a day full of sunlight it can block all the light coming in and keep the room dark. Especially helps in bedrooms when you have problems sleeping in the presence of light. Happy with my purchase! Good collection of colors and sizes, I chose the grey one and the fabric quality is pretty decent too.
Great Quality, but wrong size sent and too darkening
I ordered the NICETOWN Blackout Curtains for my living room to add to my holiday decor. I was impressed with the fabric quality and how well they block out light. The hunter-green colour is rich and elegant, and the thermal insulation helps with temperature control.Pros:â Great Blackout Effect â These curtains block out light very well, making them perfect for a bedroom or media room.â Nice Fabric & Color â The material feels high-quality, and the hunter-green colour looks even better in person.â Thermal Insulation Works â Helps keep the room cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.â Wrong Size Sent â Unfortunately, I received the wrong size, which was frustrating. While I could return or exchange them, it was still an inconvenience.â Too Dark for Living Room â While they work great for blocking light, they made my living room feel too dark and enclosed. Theyâre better suited for a bedroom or a space where complete darkness is needed.Final Thoughts:If I had received the right size and used them in a bedroom, they would have been perfect! Theyâre great quality but might not be the best choice for a living room if you want some natural light.

When these came they were the right fit for the window, be sure to check what size you need first. They are not blackout but do provide some coverage for the sun coming in through the window. I have not attempted to wash them yet as I just purchased them recently however I think they would be okay to be washed once a year or so if necessary. I use these curtains as a decoration more than to blackout the sun. If you are looking for blackouts, I would not choose these, these are more as a shade, and more decorative.
If wanting to buy whiteâ¦
Each panel both had little stains on them, not that they were incredibly noticeable but just interesting that theyâre dirty when theyâre new. (I saw another review on here where they had purchased the white color option and had the same issue + animal hair!?)In terms of fabric quality itâs great, the length is as described, and they look pretty good. As for the âBlackoutâ though, the white color option is pretty sheer, when opening the package i was highly expecting the back of the panels to be black because theyâre called âblackout curtainsâ.. but the sunlight is still shining perfectly through with both blinds covering my window.Looking at other reviews, iâm sure the other(darker) color ways are great in terms of not letting light through. But if youâre looking for WHITE blackout curtains these are not for you. Youâre going to want ones that have black on the backside.
