  1. Perfect for Summer!
I got the NICETOWN Blackout Window Curtain (Grey Color) at a great price, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The quality is amazing, and it does exactly what it promises – blocks out 100% of the light. I installed it in my bedroom, and it instantly made a huge difference, especially during the summer months when the sun is relentless. It’s thermal-insulated, so not only does it keep the room dark, but it also helps maintain a cooler temperature inside. I love how it keeps the heat out during the day, making my room feel so much more comfortable. The material feels soft and looks premium, which adds a nice touch to the room decor. The size (W52 x L63 inch) fits perfectly on my window, and the 8 grommets at the top make it super easy to hang. It glides smoothly on the curtain rod too, no hassle at all. If you’re sensitive to light like me, or just want a cozy, dark environment to sleep in, this curtain is a game-changer!Highly recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, high-quality blackout curtains. Great product, great deal! 🎯

  2. Beautiful colour and feel
These curtains feel really nice, not cheap or see through. Definitely would recommend or purchase more. It’s later in the evening so I’m not sure if they’re blackout but I hope so!

  3. Like them but don’t love them!
I bought these for my bedroom and thought that black curtains would be a better black curtain than a lighter-coloured option. They are okay but during the day, light does penetrate so for super-sensitive people these might not work. What I liked:The black is very true blackHas a nice sheenGood satin-like textureNicely sewnGood grommetsGood lengthI’m still working on getting the wrinkles out and have ironed and steamed them. Right now they hang a bit funny. If you are obsessed with perfectly draped curtains (like me), prepare to press them for some time.

  4. They work!
Great quality, came in quickly nice and thick! Look great!

  5. Nice. Good Price.
They look great, size was spot on. Material and sewed edges are of a professional level. No loose threads.

  6. Good quality blackout curtain
I bought 7 of these because they are so great. A low price for a lightweight material that blocks out all light. Many blackout curtains are expensive with heavy materials that pull down braces from the wall. This is lightweight and does not do this. I work the night shift so I need this for my windows. I also use this as a curtain for loft bed/desk pods so you can close it off and make a private study area that keeps the light inside when pulling all-night study sessions. You can use a drapery rod and electrical tape the rod ends and centre to a metal loft bed and you have a private bed/desk study pod for minimalist college students. The curtains will then slide open and closed with ease.

  7. Blocks the light perfectly
Covers the morning sunrise from blasting through the bedroom doors.

  8. My bad for not inspecting *immediately*
(I am unable to give a review for the same curtain but two different colours so they are both combined here: greyish white; turquoise) “GREY-ISH WHITE”:I bought one of these a couple of days ago. I knew the measurement was right, but when you’re using a grommet curtain you lose some inches due to the ripple affect (And no way to work around it). That’s OK, but I figured I’d buy a second one to fill out the window…That one arrived today, and because the first one still has creases from packaging, I grabbed it and threw it in the washing machine. I immediately unwrapped this one, and just as I was letting it go into the water I noticed a black mark on it! I pulled it back out of the machine and noticed more of a black mark and a water stain! It had a bit of a smell, so I realize the black mark is likely mildew! It was already on its way to into the water, so I decided to wash it anyway and hope for the best. I then grabbed the packaging and noticed two issues:1) The plastic wrapper actually calls it “platinum” when I had actually re-ordered “grayish white”. I pulled the curtain out of the washing machine again, and compare the colours and I think they are the same (unfortunately I don’t have perfect lighting near the washer and dryer, and they were both soaked an hour so I gave up). I went back to this site to see if they had sent a different color… So now they’ve changed the name to “platinum gray-ish white”.2) I picked up the thin cardboard which gives the wrapped-up curtain some stability and it was soaked!!! The plastic wrapper didn’t seem to be, and the delivery box and protective brown paper inside were not wet either, so it’s not like they got wet from something outside… From all the evidence this item was already wet inside the wrapper! UPDATE: the mildew and the water stain washed out! Happy to report! Zero stars for the condition in which it arrived. I will update when the washer finishes. Other general info: these are definitely black out curtains. I bought these for a window that gets sun later in the day in the summertime. I was gambling that the colour would work because my townhouse strata insists on window coverings that look white from the outside. These are a very pale gray, almost like a pale silver and I think I can get away with it That window also has some shade from tall trees, so I think it helps to disguise that these are not white. I know a lot of strata councils also require white from the outside, so if this is important to you, bear mind these do look bright white. From the inside, they look kind of dingy and don’t match my walls at all, so I also purchased the turquoise one from this company and I intend to double layer them. I had originally intended to do that for heat control, but In retrospect I didn’t really need to because the platinum gray-ish white ones are so thick and sunblocking. TURQUOISE: Four stars because they are nice curtains and if the colour were right a person would be very happy with them. However the turquoise is not turquoise, it’s sky blue. Usually I don’t get too hung up on complaints about colour because it could have to do with a person’s device or monitor and the colour settings being a little different…that can’t be helped. However, these are actually CALLED turquoise. Sadly they don’t have the nice punchiness of a turquoise fabric, but they might do for my purposes. I haven’t hung them yet, but if they don’t look right I will have to return them.
