  1. If you love building block sets and vintage cameras then this is the set for you.
Many of my most recent builds have been flower kits. While I did enjoy doing these I felt that it was time for a change. On my quest to find my next building project I stumbled upon this NIFELIZ Cameras Building Set and was very intrigued. Being very interested in vintage cameras I decided to order it.The kit arrives in a attractive box. Inside the box you are presented with numerous bags of build blocks and an instruction manual. The kit comprises 2109 pieces which is a good sized kit but not the biggest that I have ever attempted. This kit gives you the ability to build 2 vintage cameras with lens and a display base. The quality of the bricks and their ability to snap together are very close to if not equal to the famous building block maker. I had no issue with any of the blocks and had nothing that was missing or damaged.Having built many building block kits before I found this kit nice and challenging but not overwhelmingly difficult. That being said as an experienced builder I don’t feel that this kit would be really suitable for a beginner. It might be a bit too advanced for a newbie and I would personally recommend trying a few more simpler kits and getting some experience before attempting a kit of this size and complexity. The recommended age for this kit is 16+ years which is definitely appropriate for this kit but while some 16 year olds might be able to build it by themselves some might require the help of an older person. When completed the cameras look amazing. From a distance you could easily be fooled into thinking they are real cameras but a close up look will reveal they are a building block kit. I have placed this build in a cabinet along with many real vintage cameras and it does not look out of place.Overall, this is a very good quality kit that produces an attractive and realistic finished product. While not overwhelmingly hard to build I feel that you should have at least some experience building some advanced kits before attempting this kit otherwise you might give up in frustration. Based on my experiences with this kit I highly recommend it.Priced at $94.95 at the time of this review.

  2. Beautifull display
This is a nice display or shelf decoration. The design is suprisingly good looking and from afar you could believe it is the real thing. The only problem I encounter was that 2-3 blocks were not fitting perfectly in place and I had to force them in.Beside that, nice little project for a nice display.

  3. Camera Building Block Set
This Camera Building Set and Display by Nifeliz is so good! When this building set arrived, it showed up in a very nice, heavy-duty, and professional-looking box. The front of the box has a picture of the building set displayed along with some wording. This box is super convenient for keeping all the extra bags of pieces that this set comes with together and in one place. When you first open the box for this building set, you might get a little bit overwhelmed by how many different bags of building pieces there are since they are all the same colour. However, each bag is labelled with a number to which step of the building it corresponds to. Inside the box, you will also find the building instructions. There is only one book, which sort of surprised me as other sets this big that I have built before come with more than one. However, this is not a problem and does not affect the building or the set. The directions are all pretty clear and easy to follow. One thing that really stood out to me about this building set was that it came with a few smaller boxes. You do have to assemble the smaller boxes yourself; however, if you stop building this set to take a break but are in the middle of completing a bag of pieces, you can use these small boxes to keep the extra pieces safe so you do not lose them!Overall, I am super pleased with this set, as it comes with everything you need. The pieces are of great quality and snap together nicely, and even though I am still in the process of building, I can already tell the final product is going to look very nice. This set also makes for a fun gift for someone who likes puzzles, cameras, or building things!

  4. Just Okay
This Nifeliz Cameras Building Set is nice. However, it doesn’t compare to Lego. The bricks aren’t as nice and don’t fit together as easily, and when you are missing a piece, there is no place to contact, like Lego to get it sent to you. I’m glad I got it free as not worth the money.

  5. A great set for photographers and camera collectors.
I am a huge fan of building brick sets and have put together hundreds of name-brand and off-brand sets.I must say that this is one of the most unique and well-done sets that I have ever put together and I am very happy with it.This camera building set arrived very well packaged in a very nice black giftable box. It has a lot of weight to it and feels like a very high-end set.Inside the box is the assembly manual as well as several clear bags that contain the pieces and are numbered. The brick pieces are very nice and they snap together well and hold firmly. They are as close to the feel of name-brand bricks as you can get.The assembly manual is very thick and includes a lot of very detailed pictures taking you through the steps you need to assemble this camera set. It is very easy to follow. This set has 2109 pieces. Name brand sets are usually about 10 cents a piece so this set would be over $200 if it were name brand so the price is very reasonable.Once assembled the details on these cameras are amazing. It would be a great set for a camera lover or photographer.I am very happy with this set and I do recommend it.It is a challenge to assemble and is more appropriate for adults or teens than it would be for children. It makes a great display piece once it is assembled.

  6. I seldom have the funds to indulge in my building hobby, so when I saw this I decided to give it a try. It took me a long time and was more challenging than the builds I’ve previously completed. It was very entertaining, even building the platform was interesting. The only suggestion I would make is a way to anchor the pieces to the platform.

  8. I had a lot of fun putting this kit together. The instructions are very easy to follow and are very detailed. Once built it is very stable and doesn’t feel fragile so you don’t have to worry about it breaking while moving it. The final product looks very realistic.

  9. This is kind of a Jekyll and Hyde set. Sometimes it’s great and fun to build, but then sometimes it’s super boring and frustrating. The end result is decent, but could be a lot better. The box it comes in is nice. Very minimalist and sleek, it would make a good first impression for a gift. The bags, and there are a lot of them, are crammed inside with no room to spare. That, I think, is a problem that I’ll come back to. The build is in five phases so the bags are numbered 1-5, but then they are also have the steps they are for so you have multiple bags per phase. Some sets of steps have two bags. I would recommend organizing the bags before starting to build. The way the bags are numbered is interesting, and it kind of works, but there are still a lot of pieces in each bag. There’s a picture of what is required for the first steps of phase 1, it’s a lot of pieces. This is where the first problem comes in. Because there are so many pieces in each bag, and the bags are crammed into the box, a lot of the black pieces, especially the ones with a flat surface, have scratches and blemishes on them.Building is both enjoyable, and horrible at the same time. The first two phases are the bases, and it’s tedious and uninspired. It’s a lot of building the same things over and over, but the instructions don’t make it clear until the end. It would be much nicer if the instructions said sometime like x 5 at the start of building an item so you could do build them all at the same time. Instead, you build one and then find you have to build 3, 4, or 5 more of the same thing. The bases are also a bit silly. They are smooth, so look kind of cool, but there’s nothing to hold things in place so the boxes slide around on the main base and the cameras slide around on whatever you put them on. It would be much better to have something that held things in place. The camera equipment is build in phases 3-5, and is more interesting. The biggest issue for me is that there are so many parts that are held together with a single stud for long periods of the build. Because of this, they fall off all the time and you spend a lot of time rebuilding when things crumble. Eventually there will be a step that holds things together, but up to that point it’s frustrating. The final lens is the most frustrating because so much of it is held with a single stud and the top piece is super annoying to put on without knocking of side pieces.Overall, there are some cool parts to the set, and the cameras are pretty fun. But the set as a whole is quite frustrating and has a lot of boring parts and uses a lot of bad building techniques. I wouldn’t recommend it unless it’s something that really appeals to you.

  10. This build is really interesting–as I have a few mixed thoughts:1. The end result looks really nice and the plastic (especially the silver) seems to hold up well. The shiny black works–until you open the packages and touch them. I imagine I could probably polish them all back up once I’m ready to place this on my bookshelf.2. The instructions are good and pretty easy to understand. I really like how they hilite (in red) around the new part being added vs the previous parts to help identify location and placement.3. I found that the first 1/2 of the build (the display platforms) were MASSIVELY repetitive…so pull out a long movie or two–like DUNE 1 and 2.4. The camera builds themselves were rather interesting. There’s a lot of intricate parts that simply end up in the middle, unseen and not always supported very well. This makes me wonder if the point of the build was “piece count”–as in, let’s make this a 1000 piece build to justify the cost, and to have a lot of odd parts, rather than more practical designs.5. I didn’t have any “chipping” plastic parts, and all parts were in the bags, with a few extras.OVERALL–the end result does look nice and was fun–and my young pre-teen keeps wanting to touch it.
