Great product and price however…
I love this camera I want one for every room in my house haha, however I find it very ridiculous you need to PURCHASE software in order to have a longer battery life and for faster playback, I would have assumed when I purchased a camera it would come fully functioning already. Other than that the magnet is super strong, and very great idea. I purchased for my balcony, there is a long lag between frames which is super annoying especially since I wanted it to keep an eye on my child while they play outside now I am rethinking as the lag is way longer than necessary and I also don’t have $150 for a subscription to pay for my camera to function properly. Anyways debating returning this but at a cross road as it is a great camera. Easy to install and hook up.Update: the customer service is amazing with this seller. They reached out immediately and did some investigating into my issues and ended up sending a replacement for my camera. Very happy with the new one. Recommend to anyone looking for an easy to install camera.

Beautiful, but might not work
After watching many videos and reading countless reviews, I took a chance and ordered this security camera. I spend most of my time away from the front door, so do not hear when the gate opens and couriers or visitors come. But also, I cannot easily see what my dogs are doing up the driveway. This seemed like a perfect solution.First off, it’s a simple unit, a beautiful piece of engineering, and with minimal but useful connection parts and packaging. I was impressed!Despite what the videos claim, it’s not as easy to set up and learn to use as it might be. For instance, many of the instructions tell you to go to “X” but do not inform you where to find “X.” So, I didn’t fuss with all the fine tuning; that could come later. I did get it set up and, more or less, working on the front porch. Woohoo! For a while, I thought I was in heaven, or would be when I could use it fully. But there were problems.The battery ran down very quickly. I did not use sound, motion detection, alerts, or record videos. I looked to see what was going on, then got out of the app. So it was a surprise when it needed to be charged after 2 weeks.But more importantly, it frequently wasn’t able to connect.Very frustrating and disappointing! I was already hooked and spoiled because it’s incredible how well the camera works and how it saves me from running up the hall all the time.The house doesn’t have metal siding, so the magnetic feature didn’t help until I found a tall, heavy iron pipe to stand up and hold it while I tested to find a location where it would work, prior to a permanent install.My wifi router is in the kitchen, there is a wall to the front room, then the front door. Distance, 24’. Outside the door, at 25’ was as far as it would work. Most of the time. This gave me a view of half the driveway.But, I wanted this thing to work for me! If it did, it would be great! I kept fooling around, trying. At last, I thought, well, maybe it’s a defective one. Right? So I contacted Noorio Support. This resulted in several letters back and forth over a period of days. At last, this morning I received this response:Noorio: The point of the problem is that for the B200, the ideal signal reception coverage is roughly 45 feet in open space and if there are walls between the router and the camera, it will be only half of it. So for your hopes to look outside, here are my tips for you:1. Add a wifi extender to boost the signal strength;2. Add a solar panel to make the B200 charging-free.Thank you!Oh! Well, that explains things. I thought I had done more than adequate research, but nowhere did I come across those details (which, admittedly I may have missed.) The videos made it look like there were far more possibilities.Now I have this beautiful camera that I am hooked on which won’t work for me.But, do I want to buy a solar panel so I don’t have to take it down and charge it every 2 weeks — and also purchase a wifi extender?I love the camera but don’t know if I want to go to that extra expense. Possibly another brand might do the job? Or, maybe it would have the same problems. How can I tell?I am writing this in the hope it will help other people consider their situation before installing this particular unit – which, even with the limited way I used it, is fine in many ways. If I had a basement room to monitor beneath the kitchen, I might be delighted with it. And other people might have 45’ feet clear from wifi to camera.Yet, I like it to the extent that I’m wondering if I could use it elsewhere. But, where? Sadly but obviously, I am having to consider returning it. At the moment, I remain undecided.Addendum: One more thought and Test. Took my cell phone to front porch, held it just out past and around the camera. My older model Samsung showed 3 or 4 bars.2nd Addendum: Okay, so I installed a Wifi Mesh signal extender, 8’ away from where unit had been sitting outside. Noorio still not good on front porch! Thought maybe I could set it on windowsill inside. Gave up view of front door, grrr. But, sitting 7’ away from extender, it worked. Until it started to get dark! Then, all I got was window reflection. Tried on a different window. It’s useless in the dark. Very confusing as I read about other units where it’s recommended to sit them on windowsill inside, to prevent theft.Today, one last try. Took it to back yard, where it was picking up signal. Put on old metal trailer and got excited. Gave me view of dogs playing in back yard, and that was great. Checked on them later, “unable to connect.” Went out, fooled around with it, trying to find a closer spot, it connected again, the screen went pink, very weird, then it stuttered as I approached back porch. Brought it inside, screen went to black & white.You know what? It have tried hard for 3 weeks, support wasn’t helpful, and I give up. It will have to go back, and before my Return Window expires. I’d started with 2* but now it’s 1.

I purchased this camera to cover my front door. Initially, the camera was mounted inside the porch looking through the glass door. Unfortunately, the camera detects a heat signature and was unable to pick up movement outside the glass. Cameras that can pick up movement thro’ glass use pixel-differential and are costly.Installation was simple with no cables involved. The unit is powered by a rechargeable battery which is purported to last 3 months between charges I’ve only had the camera for two weeks and the battery still shows 100%.I mounted the camera outside the door of the porch and can now detect anyone approaching the door.The unit links to my wifi router and sends notifications to my iPhone no matter where I am.The picture quality is excellent and takes a short 12-second video of the approach.Noorio Customer Service has been excellent with any queries answered within one day.I purchased the B120 camera with 16Gb of internal memoryI’d recommend this camera to anyone wanting a reasonably priced unit with superb quality and customer service
