Reviews

  1. Great seal (non-spill), washes up great in dishwasher.
This is the perfect silicone cup for toddlers, or even if you’re beginning baby-led weaning and want to introduce a straw (you can hold it up to your little one’s mouth and squeeze the sides slightly for water to come up so they start to get the idea that the water comes through the straw!). It also comes in a really cute package, so it would make for a great gift. There are 3 pieces total, all made from the same silicone material. The straw has a slight bend to it and the lid comes with the ability to close the straw hole if you want. I’ve washed it a few times now in the dishwasher (on the top rack), and it’s held up great! When I’ve been out with my son and taken this with us, we’ve had other moms asking us where we got this cup. The colour options are amazing. Love, love, love!

  2. Works well!
Pretty easy for my little one to hold on to and use.Hasn’t suffered any damage going through the dishwasher multiple times.Fairly leak proof. More specifically, it only leaks when on its side and the straw is pointed in a certain way.More than big enough for one serving.Seems well made and a solid 4.5 stars!

  3. Great Silicone Straw Training cup for babies/toddlers
This is not the first item i get from this brand and i loved most of my orders except for the sippy cup. This one works amazing, it’s 100% food grade silicone, has a removable silicone straw, easy to clean and most importantly easy for baby grip as it doesn’t slip and holds the liquid well without spilling. Size is great i chose the 8oz for my 1 year old. It looks very durable and super easy to use. You can also remove the lid latter when toddler grows up and use it as an open cup. Only con that comes with all silicone cups they attract hair and dust easily.

  4. Great For Littles and Love The Colour
Nouka has quickly become a brand that I trust to produce high quality products, as each thing I’ve gotten so far has not disappointed! The colour is beautiful and true to the pictures, the product arrived in great condition and cute packaging, and it feels very sturdy and well made.8oz is a pretty good size for older toddlers and great for those learning to drink from a straw. The seal is pretty good on the lid, so you don’t have to worry about leaks unless your kid if good at popping off lids. I also like that you can take out the straw and seal the cup to make it easy to take on the go or for picnics. The straw can come out fairly easily as a heads up; it doesn’t have a stopper or anything to prevent it from coming out.The cup is made out of durable food grade silicone that’s not too thick so it’s still slightly malleable. I also trust silicone more than plastic because I don’t have to worry about chips or breaks, it can withstand higher temperatures meaning it’s microwave and dishwasher safe, and it generally lasts longer than other materials. It held up great in the dishwasher and it’s super easy to clean by hand as well.Overall, I’m very happy with it and would recommend it as a gift for anyone looking for ideas, especially if you can get it on sale!

  5. Well made straw cup for toddlers
We selected the Nouka food-grade silicone straw cup in the “deep moon” colour and it looks exactly as advertised. Here are some pros and cons:Pros: – the cup is 8oz which is a good size for toddlers who are learning to drink from a straw – food grade silicone is non-slip so easy for children to grip – the lid’s seal is good and would not be easy for a toddler to remove – the straw can be removed and the cup can be sealed for easy leak-proof transport – it’s dishwasher safeCons: – the straw can be pulled out relatively easily as it doesn’t have a ring or rim to prevent it – as the cup is soft, the straw will squirt water if the cup is squeezed too hardOverall, a well-sized and well constructed cup for toddlers.

  6. Great Cup for Toddlers
The color is very nice and muted. Love how the cups are dishwasher safe and microwave safe. Nice feature to place the tab where the straw goes to make the cup leak proof. You still have to be careful of the lid because if you squish it or drop it too aggressively it may pop off.

  7. Good size and easy to hold for babies
Love the colour, that it’s dishwasher friendly and made of non toxic silicone

  8. Better than the sippy cup in my opinion
I love the material this brand uses, just because as common as silicone is, I don’t (other people might, but I don’t) see many companies with silicone products for children. It’s different enough that it doesn’t break and if the child tries to eat it while teething or just for the sake of being a child one day, its not likely that they will break the surface. That said, I like these better than their sippy glasses, just because as you’ll read in a previous review on that cup, I have no clue how the child actually gets liquid through the cup. This one is simple and it has a straw and I know the child will have whatever its drinking, with no issues. I also like that this has a plug on the top. So in storage just seal it and it should in theory be fine as long as it has properly been washed and no residue is there or anything.

  9. My almost 2-year-old likes to be a big girl and use “big-girl” cups! She drinks out of mine, but needed a cup of her own that was more her size. This cup is GREAT and she loves it! I love the silicone material. It’s soft, easy to hold/touch and very easy to clean! The straw comes out for washing but easily slides back in. It has a little topper that you can open or close to drink out of (or to keep closed to use the straw). It’s not completely spill-proof, so we’ve been using water, but it’s a big hit for my daughter. Now she has her big-girl cup that she can take outside with her everywhere we go!

  10. I *really* wanted to like this cup. It’s adorably packaged, a pretty color, it’s soft, it seems watertight, and a reasonable 8 oz size for young kids. My grandkids are 2.5 and 5, and I’m always looking for a spill proof cup that doesn’t have an armada of pieces to take up half the upper rack of the dishwasher and isn’t an IQ test to put together. This seems perfect!Until strong hands squeeze the nicely squishy cup. Without the straw and with the plug in it for transport, it doesn’t take much to turn it into a water/milk/juice bomb by firmly squeezing it. Don’t put it in a bag or backpack where it could get crushed! With the straw, you’ve got an amazing squirt gun. The entire assembly is not allowed unsupervised near the grandkids, their dad, uncle, or grandpa! The cup without the top, though, is a great little cup which is useful for all ages. This would really nice for a much younger baby without the hand strength to squeeze it and served at a table/high chair to prevent rolling/sitting/stepping on it. When filled just half-way, the water grenade/squirt gun effect is much reduced, so perfect for those needing about 4 ounces of liquid. The straw is a good teether, too.

  11. This is great when trying to transition your little one to a sippy cup. I’d say to introduce this early, before baby can lift it by themselves. To avoid any mess.

  12. The color is the perfect grey and the material is a nice and thick but still semi-soft silicone. The lid pops on and off (doesn’t screw on) so be careful if too much pressure it applied with the lid on and contents inside as it will pop off but it would take quite a bit of squeezing. The straw fits perfectly into the hole in the lid and is snug so there is no concern with it falling out or getting lost, but it is easy to remove for cleaning purposes and also entirely made of silicone. Overall, I love this cup because it is an easy to clean material, it looks high end, and is not a hard material that can become a hazard (have you ever been wacked with a sippy cup?). I would definitely order again!

  13. This is a nice transition cup to go from a sippy cup to a regular one, it’s dishwasher and microwave safe.  I like that it has a small vent hole so that unlike our current one, that when we attach the lid the pressure doesn’t cause the liquid to squirt out of the straw.  The 8oz size can hold plenty of drink for our 18 month old grandson and he has no problem gripping it.  It isn’t completely leak free, if tipped over, or dropped, it can leak from the straw and a small amount from the vent hole.  There is a tab to seal the vent hole and the straw hole, but you need to remove the straw first to do so.  It is a soft cup, so if your child has the strength to squeeze the cup enough, the cover may come off.  If stepped on, the cover will most certainly come off.  That being said, it’s a good soft unbreakable cup to use under a watchful eye.
