Good first spoon for baby food
We use the silicon based spoons when the baby starts solids. Lots of companies make them.These are soft enough to not hurt their teeth or gums. Smooth around the edges.They are longer so you can scoop out baby food from a jar (but that food is not tasty…better to make your own!)I like the fact that these spoons have a holder at the bottom where the spoon doesn’t actually touch the table. You can set it down flat. Most spoons don’t have this holder attached to the handle and you need to use a dish or napkin instead. The same holder can be used to rest on a dish’s edge so it doesn’t slide off or turn over.My other baby spoons (different brand) cannot be put down flat, nor can they be placed upward facing on a dish because they flip over.So it has good design features. A bit more thoughtful.The only thing I don’t like about the silicon spoons is that they stain, especially when using red based sauces like tomato sauce [so feeding baby’s first pastas etc..]. All my baby spoons made of this plastic stain eventually and you can’t really wash it out. Just FYI.
great set of spoons with a neat design
These spoons are the perfect size for new little eaters! I like that these spoons are long and thin to be able to fit into little mouths. They are super easy to clean since they are made from silicone. I love that they have an edge that keeps the spoon from lying on the table. Itâs also handy to rest the spoon against the bowl when youâre not using it to prevent mess on the table- see photo. The square edging of the spoon allows you to be able to scrape out the remaining food very easily.
Handy little spoons
It’s a 5 pack of soft squared tip baby spoons that work well to grab a small amount when needed, and more when needed too! It’s a bit flexible, so it’s not going to hurt in any way and the rest keep the tip off the table.It could take your little one some practice though if its not his/her first spoon as I guess that the fact that they’re a tad deep could mean its too different than before and might need some adaptation. You might end up with a bit of food still on the spoon after it comes back from their mouth. Not a big deal though.

These have proven to be great spoons for feeding out little one. The length is fantastic and despite the extended distance from where we hold it to the actual spoon bit, they are surprisingly sturdy. They’re BPA free and can be placed in the dishwasher, which is always appreciated. The most ingenious part (they are just spoons, after all) is the built-in “holder” or rest on the arm of the spoon – it makes it so you can place it down on a surface without the actual spoon tip touching the table/surface. Much more hygienic all around and creates less of a mess. I’ll never go back to baby spoons without this!
