It is sturdier than I thought, and I love the freeze trays on top; they definitely make it easy to place the bag on top and flatten it. I have been able to place approximately 9 bags filled with 6 ounces in each tower.I am sure I could potentially put 10 bags, but I had already frozen some bags prior to purchasing these towers, and some of them were not frozen flat, thus that is why I could only fit about 9 bags.They do work as intended, and I love that I can place them on the little shelf in my mini deep chest freezer I bought to store my excess breast milk. Definitely recommend on purchasing if you are on the fence about it!!
This works perfectly for the way we store milk! I use one tower for my bags that have a full meal and the other for what I call âtop offâ bags that we use if sheâs going thru a growth spurt or milk gets spilled in the transfer process or whatever other reason we may need an extra ounce and donât want to thaw a whole 4oz bag. The tops make it easy to freeze the bags flat, if you place a paper towel/tea towel between layers you can freeze multiple at once. I also love that there was no assembly required, with having an infant I knew I wouldnât have had time to put anything extra together but this just needed to go on the shelf in the freezer, no extra work required!
Purchased this item but I had to return them since they didnât fit well in my freezer. Great for a deep freezer though.
